Teachers Views About Distributed Leadership

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate teachers' views on distributive leadership behavior in schools. In this research, which was formed in the context of qualitative research methodology, case study was used as a pattern. Participants of this study consist of 15 teachers who work in the districts of Erzurum province in 2016 - 2017 academic years. The data collection tool used in this research was developed by researchers. This data collection tool consists of 3 questions in total and it is prepared as a semi-structured interview form. In the light of findings that obtained from the research, themes are obtained. First of them is negative aspects of a single training manageroriented behavior in schools. The second theme of the search is the distributed leadership behavior affect teachers' output and the last one is the teacher’s job distribution perception. It can be said that teachers’ views are positive for distributed leadership.

Bu araştırmayla okullardaki dağıtımcı liderlik davranışına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinin değerlendirmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi bağlamında oluşturulan bu araştırmada, desen olarak durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın katılımcılarını 2016 - 2017 akademik döneminde Erzurum ili merkez ilçelerinde görev yapan 15 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında kullanılan veri toplama aracı araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Toplam 3 sorudan oluşan bu veri toplama aracı yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu olarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda elde edilen bulgular sırasıyla tek bir eğitim yöneticisinin kuruma getirdiği olumsuz yönler, otantik liderliğin öğretmen çıktılarına etkisi ve son olarak öğretmenlerin iş dağılımı algısıdır. Araştırmanın sonucu olarak öğretmenlerin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışına ilişkin görüşleri tema ve alt temaları ile verilmiştir.
