In 15th and 16th centuries Ottoman Empire enjoyed its peak in the fields of science, thought and tasawwuf as well as in other areas. This study is about the comparison of two masterpieces of the period. One of the masterpieces is the Kur’an Commentary Booklet of Cemal Halveti who was the founder of Cemalî School of Halvetisim and one of the most important figures who prevented Anatolia from going under Shiite influence, and the other masterpiece is Advice Booklet of Zenbilli Ali Cemalî Efendi who was the Sheikh ul Islam of the period and the arranger of statute laws of Suleiman the Magnificent. Thus in this study, we discuss how ideal individual could have been brought up by the cooperation of sciences and tasawwuf of the era. During its growth and peak period, the Ottoman Empire managed to build a union between madrasas and Islamic monasteries in order to provide its citizens with both material and moral education. Both of these scholars who tried to define the way that would take the individual to the degree of perfect human being, reached to same point even though they employed different methods. In terms of value education, it can be observed that the Ottoman Empire started its decline stage when they abandoned the connection between madrasa, Islamic monasteries
