ELAZIĞ İL MERKEZİNDE İLKÖĞRETİM ÖĞRETMENLERİNDE TÜKENMİŞLİK DÜZEYİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; Elazığ il merkezindeki ilköğretim öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik düzeylerini saptamak, değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek ve bu noktadan hareketle tükenme sorununa çözüm önerileri getirmek amaçlanmıştır.Tükenmişliğin ölçülmesinde; Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği (MTÖ), kişisel ve mesleki özelliklerde; Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF) ve veri analizlerinde ise; Mann Whitney-U ve Kruskal Wallis-H testi uygulanmıştır. Alt ölçekler arasındaki ilişkinin tespitinde korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Ölçekte geçerlilik-güvenilirlik analizi yapılarak, hata payı üst sınırı ? = 0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir.Öğretmenlerin; görevi yürütme biçimleri, medeni durumları, eğitim düzeyleri, çocuk sayıları ve çalışma sürelerinin tükenmişlik düzeylerini etkilemediği (p>0.05), fakat cinsiyet, çalışma süresi, mesleki yeterlilik, iletişim kurma, takdir görme, ekonomik tatmin, yaş ve mesleki kıdemin ise etkili olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Ayrıca; duygusal tükenme (DT) ve duyarsızlaşma (D) alt boyutları açısından düşük, kişisel başarı (KB) açısından ise yüksek puanların alınması, öğretmenlerin düşük düzeyde tükenmişlik yaşadığını ortaya çıkarmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Duyarsızlaşma, duygusal tükenme, kişisel başarı, Maslach tükenmişlik ölçeği, öğretmen

In this study, it is aimed to determine the burnout level of the primary school teachers in Elazığ, to analyze the relationship among variables and to find out solutions for the burnout problem.Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) for the measurement of burnout, Personal Information Form (PIF) for the personal and professional characteristics, and Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis-H tests for the data analysis were applied. Furthermore, correlation analysis was used in the determination the relationship among sub-mesures. By analyzing validity and reliability in measure, upper limit in tolerance was accepted as ?= 0.05.It is observed that execution forms of the task, marital status, education level, number of children of teachers have not affected burnout levels of work time (p>0.05), but gender, work time, professional competence, communication, being appreciated, economic satisfaction, age and occupational level have been effective (p<0.05). However, low grades in emotional exhaustion (EE) and depersonalization (D), the high grades in terms of personal success (PS) revealed that the teachers are in burnout at low level.Key Words: Depersonalization, emotional exhaustion, personal success, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), teacher
