TÜRK HALK KÜLTÜRÜNDE ÇAY

Abstract

Kültür, bireyi her bakımdan etkileyen çok fonksiyonlu bir dünyadır. Bu dünya içerisinde gelenek, görenek, inanış ve ritüeller de bu yapboz'un birer parçasıdır. Tüm bu parçalar kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılan birer değer olmakla birlikte Türk sosyolojik yaşamının kültür hazinesini kapsamaktadır. Çay da bu hazinelerden bir tanesidir. Çay, gelenekten beslenerek kültür unsurları içerisinde yer almış ve etrafında çok derin çok köklü bir temel oluşturmuştur. Zamanla toplu davetlerin, toplantıların, ana ve ara öğünlerin başucu içeceği haline gelerek Türk insanı ile özdeşleşmiştir. Çalışmada, çayın gelenekten beslenerek sosyalleştirici ve folklorik bir güç olduğu ve Türk toplumunu halk kültürü potasında buluşturarak, Türk halkı içerisinde sözlü ve yazılı kaynaklardan daha da özele inilecek olunursa türlü edebi eserlere kadar genişçe yer aldığına değinilmiştir. Culture is a multifunctional world that affects the individual in every aspect. Traditions, customs, beliefs and rituals in this World are also pieces of this puzzle. All of these pieces are values transferred from generation to generation and include the cultural treasure of Turkish sociological life. Tea is one of these treasures. Tea, nourished by tradition, has tken its place in cultural elements and has created a very deep and deep-rooted structure around it. Over time, it became the bedside drink of mass invitations, meetings, main and snack meals, and became identified with the Turkish people. In the study, it is mentioned that tea is a socializing and folkloric power, nourished by tradition, and that it brings the Turkish society together in the melting pot of folk culture, and that it has a wide place in the Turkish people, from oral and written sources to more specifially, literary works.
