GENETİK ALGORİTMA TABANLI SLM TEKNİĞİ KULLANILARAK OFDM SİSTEMLERİNDE PAPR AZALTILMASI

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, OFDM modülasyonunda karşılaşılan PAPR sorunu ve bu sorunu azaltma teknikleri incelenmiştir. Geleneksel OFDM ve W-OFDM hakkında bilgi verilmiş ve sisteme PAPR azaltma yöntemlerinden SLM tekniği eklenerek performans karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Daha sonra bu yapı genetik algoritma (GA) ile optimize edilerek geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hangi yöntemin daha uygun olduğu konusuna değinilmiştir. MATLAB kodu yazılmış ve elde edilen PAPR değerleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Her iki yöntemin grafiksel sonuçları verilmiştir. Sonuçlar yorumlanarak en verimli neticeye göre incelenmiştir.

In this thesis, PAPR problem encountered in OFDM modulation and techniques to reduce this problem are examined. Information is given about the traditional OFDM and WOFDM and Performance comparison was made by adding SLM technique, one of the PAPR reduction methods, to the system. Then, this structure was tried to be developed by optimizing it with genetic algorithm (GA). It is mentioned that which method is more suitable. MATLAB code is written and obtained PAPR values are compared. Graphical results of both methods are given. The results were interpreted and examined according to the most efficient result.
