KARTAL TİBET SİNEMASINDA TOPLUMSAL MESELELER

Abstract

Türk siyasal hayatında darbeler ve askeri müdahalelerin 1960'lardan 2000'li yıllara kadar uzayan biçimleri, sinema filmleri için de önemli bir kaynak teşkil etmiştir. Toplumsal sorunları kendi filmlerinde ele alan yönetmenler, Türk Sinemasında önemli meselelere dikkat çekmiş, Kartal Tibet bu anlamda önemli filmler üretmiştir. Kartal Tibet sinemasında toplumsal sorunların neler olduğunu ortaya koyan bu çalışmanın amacı, sinema ile toplumsalın, toplumcu-gerçekçiliğin filmlerdeki bağlantıları analiz etmektir. Çalışmada Türkiye'de yaşanan değişim ve dönüşümler sonucu ortaya çıkan toplumsal meselelerin "Sultan (1978), Zübük (1980), Gurbetçi Şaban (1985), Öğretmen (1988), Gülen Adam (1990)" filmleri üzerinden yansımaları ele alınmıştır. Kartal Tibet'in yönetmenliğini yaptığı bu filmlerde eleştirel bir dil kullanıldığı gözlenmiş, izleyiciyi güldürürken düşündürmeyi amaçlayan yapımlar üretildiği görülmüştür. Gecekondu ve yoksulluk sorununa değinen Sultan filmi, siyasal değişimlerin neden olduğu geleneksel ve modern arasında nasıl davranacağını bilemeyen halkın işlerini kendi koydukları kurallar ile halledişlerini işleyen Zübük filmi, ekonomik nedenler sonucu iç ve dış göçün yaşandığı yıllarda dış göç olgusunu işleyen Gurbetçi Şaban filmi, köyde öğretmen olarak çalışan ve bolluk içinde yaşayan Hüsnü öğretmenin zorunlu olarak şehre göç etmesi beraberinde gelen zor, yoksul bir yaşamı izleyiciye aktaran Öğretmen filmi ve doğduğu günden beri her olaya gülen Şaban'ın yoksulluk karşısındaki duruşu, gecekondulaşma, arazi rant sorununun anlatıldığı Gülen Adam filmi, dönemin toplumsal yaşamı ile ilgili izleyiciye ve geleceğe dönem hakkında birçok bilgi sunmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında filmlerin incelemesinde elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır.

The forms of coups and military interventions in Turkish political life, extending from the 1960s to the 2000s, also constituted an important source for motion pictures. The directors, who dealt with social problems in their films, drew attention to important issues in Turkish cinema, and Kartal Tibet produced important films in this sense. The aim of this study, which reveals what social problems are in Kartal Tibet's cinema, is to analyze the connections between cinema and social issues and socialist-realism in films. In the study, the reflections of the social issues that emerged as a result of the changes and transformations in Turkey through the films "Sultan (1978), Zubuk (1980), Saban the Expatriate (1985), The Teacher (1988), Gülen Adam (1990)" were discussed. It was observed that a critical language was used in these films directed by Kartal Tibet, and productions aiming to make the audience think while making them laugh were produced. The movie "Sultan", which touches on the problem of slums and poverty; the movie "Zübük", which deals with the way people who do not know how to behave between the traditional and the modern caused by the political changes, handle their affairs with the rules they set; the film "Saban the Expatriate", which deals with the phenomenon of external migration during the years of internal and external migration as a result of economic reasons; "The Teacher" film which conveys the difficult and poor life of the teacher Hüsnü, who works as a teacher in the village and lives in abundance, that comes with his forced migration to the city, and the movie "Gülen Adam" (Smiling Man), about Saban's stance against poverty, slums, and the land rent problem, who has been laughing at every event since the day he was born, it offers a lot of information about the social life of the period to the audience and the future. Within the scope of this study, the data obtained in the analysis of the films were evaluated and interpreted with the descriptive analysis method.
