WHİTEHEAD’DE METAFİZİK VEYA SPEKÜLATİF FELSEFE

Abstract

Alfred North Whitehead, özgün fikirleri ile modern felsefede büyük öneme sahip sistematik bir filozoftur. Yaşadığı dönemdeki bilimsel gelişmelere paralel olarak, gerçekliğin açıklanması noktasında yeni bir metafizik sistem geliştirmiştir. Whitehead?e göre alemde var olan her şey ikili bir yapıya süreklilik-değişme sahiptir ve var olan her şey birbiri ile karşılıklı ilişkiye sahiptir. Aynı şekilde Tanrı da bu ilişkiye dahildir. İşte bu durum metafiziğin dikkate alması gereken en önemli noktasıdır. O halde alemde var olan her şeyin ikili bir yapıya sahip olması ve birbirleriyle ilişkisi ve Tanrı?nın da bu ilişkiye dahil olması Whitehead „in metafizik anlayışının merkezini oluşturmaktadır. Biz bu araştırmamızda Whitehead?in metafizik düşüncesinin çerçevesini ortaya koymaya çalışacağız

A. North Whitehead is a distinguished, systematic philosopher with original ideas in modern philosophy. He developed a new metaphysical system in parallel with the scientific developments of the period he lived in. According to Whitehead, everything in nature has a dual structure fluency and permanence and everthing available has got a reciprocal relationship with each other. God is also included in this relationship. This point is the most remarkable point in metaphysical philosophy. The dual structure of everyting in nature and their relationship with each other and the God?s being included in this relationship consists the main center of Whitehead?s metaphysical understanding.
