TÜRKİYE'DEKİ LİMONİOPSİS LİNCZ. CİNSİ (PLUMBAGİNACEAE) TÜRLERİNİN MORFOLOJİK, ANATOMİK VE KROMOZOM ÖZELLİKLERİ BAKIMINDAN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de yayılış gösteren Plumbaginaceae familyasına ait Limoniopsis owerinii (Boiss.) Lincz. (Eğin kuduzotu) ve Limoniopsis davisii Bokhari (yel kuduzotu) türlerinin morfolojik, anatomik ve kromozomal özellikleri araştırılmıştır. İncelenen iki tür; bitki boyu, skapusların dallanma durumu, spikacıkların çiçek sayısı, spikacıklardaki ikincil iç braktenin ucunun şekli, kaliks damarlarının kaliks primer loblarına göre durumu gibi morfolojik özellikler bakımından farklılıklar göstermektedirler. İki türün de hem yapraklarında hem de skapusların yüzeylerinde tuz (tebeşir) salgı bezleri bulunmaktadır. Anatomik incelemelerde, L. owerinii türünün skapuslarının enine kesitinde genel hatlarıyla düz kenarlara ve keskin köşelere sahip dikdörtgen-kare şeklinde olduğu görülmüştür. L. davisii türünün skapuslarının ise enine kesitte, genel hatlarıyla yuvarlanmış kenarlara ve köşelere sahip yuvarlanmış kare şeklinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Her iki türde de skapusların merkezinde radyal iletim demetlerinin bulunması oldukça önemli bulunmuştur. Çünkü, tohumlu bitkilerde bu tip iletim demetleri çoğunlukla köklerde görülür. Skapuslarda, yapraklarda olduğu gibi assimleme görevi yapan palizat ve sünger parankimalarının birlikte bulunması da oldukça ilginçtir. Sitogenetik olarak incelenen iki türün özellikle kromozomların sentromerlerinin konumu açısından oldukça farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. İki tür de diploittir ve kromozom sayıları x=8, 2n=2x=16'dir.

In this study, the morphological, anatomical and chromosomal characteristics of Limoniopsis owerinii (Boiss.) Lincz. and Limoniopsis davisii Bokhari species of the Plumbaginaceae family which are distributed in Turkey, were investigated. Two species examined; they differ in terms of morphological characteristics such as plant height, branching state of the scapes, number of flowers in the spikelets, shape of the tip of the secondary inner bract in the spikelets, calyx shape and whether the calyx vessels enter the primary lobes of the calyx. Both species have salt (chalk) glands on both their leaves and the surfaces of their scapes. Anatomical studies showed that L. owerinii scapes were rectangular-square with straight edges and sharp corners in cross-section . It has been determined that the scapes of L. davisii have a rounded square shape with rounded edges and corners in cross section. The radial vascular bundles of the scapes appear to be quite important in both species. Because in seed plants, this type of vascular bundles are seen mostly in roots. It is quite interesting that palisade and sponge parenchyma, which serve assimilation, are found together in the scapes, just like in the leaves. It has been determined that the two species examined cytogenetically differ considerably, especially in terms of the position of the centromeres of the chromosomes. Both species are diploid and their chromosome numbers are x=8, 2n=2x=16.
