FRİTHJOF SCHUON'DA HAKİKATİN BİRLİĞİ İLKESİ

Abstract

Hakikat felsefe tarihi boyunca filozofların, izini sürdükleri bir kavram olmuştur. Felsefe faaliyetlerinin ilk başlarından günümüze kadar eşyanın, varlık aleminin ardındaki gerçek hep merak konusu olmaktadır. Bu bağlamda hakikat, bir şeyin ne olduğunu sormakla elde edilebilen bilgiyi bize vermektedir. Böylece o, aynı zamanda bilginin konusudur veya bilgi felsefesinin bir problemidir. Bu problem üzerine kafa yoran, teori üretenlerden biri de Frithjof Schuon'dur. Onun mensubu olduğu Geleneksel ekol hakikat problemini, İlahi olanı merkeze koyarak anlamaya çalışmıştır. Dolayısıyla bizler de söz konusu çalışmamızda bu ekolün genel karakteristik yönlerini ortaya koymakla birlikte, onun önemli bir temsilcisi olan Frithjof Schuon'un bakış açısını incelemeye gayret ettik. Frithjof Schuon'a göre hakikat, metafizik ile elde edilebilen bir olgudur. Gerçeğin bilgisi metafizik sahada saklıdır. Metafizik ise diğer bilgi dallarından apayrı bir kutsal bilgi alanıdır. Buradan yola çıkan Schuon, metafiziği ıskaladığını düşündüğü Batı felsefesini eleştirmektedir. Bu durum, Schuon da dahil olmak üzere Geleneksel ekolün Batı düşüncesine yönelttiği genel bir eleştiridir. Ona göre hakikat İlahi olanın bilgisidir. Bu bilgi de uzun bir entelektüel ve ahlaki birikim sonucu kazanılır ve o, bu bağlamda ezoterik bir mahiyet de içerir. Çalışmamızın ilk bölümünü, ele alınan konu ile neyin amaçlandığı, kapsam ve sınırlılıklarının neler olduğu ile önemi ve yöntemi oluşturmaktadır. İkinci bölümde Geleneksel ekole ait gelenek, ezoterizm ve perennializm kavramlarının ne olduğuna ilişkin bilgilere yer verilmektedir. Daha sonra üçüncü ve en son bölümde ise çalışmamızın asıl konusu olan Frithjof Schuon'un hayatı ve bilimsel çalışmaları ile hakikatin onda neye karşılık geldiği, anlamının ve değerinin ne olduğu üzerinde durulmaktadır.

The truth has been a concept that philosophers have traced throughout the history of philosophy. From the early stages of philosophical activities to the present day, the reality behind objects and the realm of existence has always been a subject of cuirosity. In this context, truth provides us the knowledge that can be attained by questioning the essence of something. Thus, it is also the subject of knowledge or a problem of the philosophy of knowledge. One of the thinkers who contemplated and developed theories on this problem is Frithjof Schuon. The traditionalist ecole to which he belongs, has sought to understdand the problem of truth by placing the divine at its center. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to both outline the general characteristics of this ecole and examine the perspective of on of its prominent representatives, Frithjof Schuon. According to Frithjof Schuon, truth is phenomenon that can be attained through metaphysics. The knowledge of reality is hidden in the metaphysical realm. Metaphysics, on the other hand, is a sacred domain of knowledge that is entirely distinct from other branches of knowledge. Building on this perspective, Schuon critiques Western philosophy, which he believes has overlooked metaphysics. This situation is a general critique directed at Western thought by the traditional ecole, including Schuon. In his view, truth is the knowledge of the divine. This knowledge is acquired through a long process of intellectual and moral accumalation and, in this context, also encompasses an esoteric natüre. The fırst part of our study, what is intended by the topic under consideration, what its scope and limitations are and its importance and method. In the second part, the tradition of the Traditional school, ınformation on the concepts of esotericism and perennialism is included. Then, in the third and last section, the life and scientific works of Frithjof Schuon, which is the main subject of our study and what truth corresponds to him, what its meaning and value are discussed.
