An Analysis on The Examination of The Yusuf and Zeliha in The Seyyad Hamza

Abstract

The texts of the historical periods of the languages ??are very important for the sound, shape, syntax and especially the diachronic and synchronic work. In these kinds of studies, besides the changes of sound and shape, meaning changes, word loss etc. and the reasons for their occurrence. For this reason, dictionary works are the most important supporters of grammatical studies. Dictionaries are very important in terms of expressing the existence of a language in a certain period. In this context, the works belonging to the first periods of the Oguz Turkic which is an important branch of the Turkic are among the primary and important resources in terms of the emergence of this branch and the treasury. One of these sources is Yusuf and Zelîhâ mesnevis, which belong to Şeyyad Hamza. The story of this work contains many words and phrases that are used in the simple, plain and most modern Turkish of Old Anatolian Turkic. This study tried to reach some evaluations about the vocabulary of Old Anatolian Turkish by moving from the index part of the work done by İbrahim TAŞ regarding the mentioned work and moving from the rich word existence of Yûsuf and Zelîhâ.Dillerin tarihi dönemlerine ait metinlerin ses, şekil, söz dizimi ve özellikle söz hazinesi art ve eş zamanlı çalışmalar için oldukça önemlidir. Bu tür çalışmalarda ses ve şekil değişikliklerinin yanı sıra anlam değişmeleri, sözcük yitimi vs. gibi durumların ortaya çıkışı ile bunların nedenleri ortaya konabilir. Bu nedenle gramer çalışmalarının en önemli destekçisi sözlük çalışmalarıdır. Bir dilin belirli bir dönemdeki söz varlığını ifade etmesi açısından sözlükler oldukça önemlidir. Bu bağlamda Türkçenin önemli bir kolu olan Oğuz Türkçesinin ilk devrelerine ait olan eserler bu kolun ortaya çıkışı ve söz hazinesi açısından birincil ve önemli kaynaklar arasındadır. Bu kaynaklardan biri de Şeyyâd Hamza’ya ait olan Yûsuf ve Zelîhâ mesnevisidir. Bu eserin söz hazinesi Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin yalın, anlaşılır, sade ve çoğu günümüz Türkiye Türkçesinde de kullanılmakta olan pekçok sözcük ve deyimi içermektedir. Bu çalışma, adı geçen eser ile ilgili olarak İbrahim TAŞ tarafından yapılan çalışmanın dizin kısmından yola çıkarak Yûsuf ile Zelîhâ mesnevisinin zengin söz varlığından hareketle Eski Anadolu Türkçesi’nin söz varlığı hakkında bazı değerlendirmelere ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.
