YÜKSEK MERTEBEDEN İSOSPEKTRAL STURM-LİOUVİLLE ÖZDEĞER PROBLEMLERİ

Abstract

İsospektral problemler, spektral teoride oldukça önemli bir yere sahiptir. İsospektral problem en temel anlamda, başlangıç değer problemi ile aynı formda ve aynı özdeğerlere sahip farklı problemleri elde etmektir. Bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde isospektral problemin literatürdeki yeri ve önemi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde 2. mertebeden denkleme eşdeğer olan 4. mertebeden Sturm-Liouville problemleri tanımlanmış ve bazı spektral özellikleri incelenmiştir. Daha sonra Darboux lemması kullanılarak isospektral Sturm-Liouville problemleri ailesi oluşturulmuş ve elde edilen veriler örnekler üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde 2. ve 6. mertebeden Sturm-Liouville problemleri için aynı özellikler incelenmiştir. Son bölümde ise 2. mertebeden denkleme eşdeğer olan daha yüksek mertebeden Sturm-Liouville problemleri için aynı yaklaşım göz önüne alınmıştır

Isospectral problems have a very important place in spectral theory. The isospectral problem, in its most basic sense, is to obtain different problems with the same form and eigenvalues as the initial value problem. In the first part of this study, the place and importance of the isospectral problem in the literature is given. In the second part, the 4th order Sturm-Liouville problems, which are equivalent to the 2nd order equation, are defined and some spectral properties are examined. Then, a family of isospectral SturmLiouville problems was created using the Darboux lemma and the obtained data were applied on the examples. In the third chapter, the same properties are examined for the second and 6th order Sturm-Liouville problems. In the last section, the same approach is considered for higher order Sturm-Liouville problems, which are equivalent to the 2nd order equation.
