Abstract

IX ve X. YÜZYILLARDA BİZANS İMPARATORLUĞUNDA TİCARETSemra DENK (ÇELİK)FIRAT ÜNİVERSİTESİTARİH ANABİLİM DALIELAZIĞ 2006, s. XII+124İnsanlık tarihi ile başlayıp aynı gelişim paralelinde bulunan ticaret, OrtaçağTarihi boyunca da yoğun bir seyir takip etmiştir.IX. ve X. Yüzyıllarda Bizans İmparatorluğundaki ticari durum, beraberindegeniş bir ekonomik ve sosyal refahı getirmiştir. Bir yandan pazar, panayır gelişirken,diğer yandan da kentler ve tüccar sınıfı gibi sosyal değişmeler yaşanmıştır.Doğu-Batı ilişkileri ile ihracat ve ithalat faaliyetleri artmış ve bu yüzyıllarticaretin yükselişi olmuştur. XI. Yüzyılda ise Bizans İmparatorluğu tarihi açısındanönemli dönüm noktaları olmuştur. Bizans siyaseten çöküş sürecine girerken, budönemde Doğu'da Türk ve İslam gücü dünya siyasetinde önemli bir noktaya gelmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Bizans, Ticaret, Fiyat, Doğu, Batı, İstanbul.
