Öğrencilerin İmam Hatip Liselerini tercih etme nedenleri (Elazığ ili örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, İmam Hatip Liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin bu okul- ları tercih etmelerinde etkili olan faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacını ortaya koyabilmek için nicel araştırma yönteminin betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemi 2017-2018 eği- tim öğretim yılının birinci döneminin başında Elazığ merkezde bulunan ikisi erkek, ikisi kız, biri proje okulu olmak üzere toplam beş İmam Hatip Lise- sinden rastlantısal olarak seçilen 600 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma- nın verileri anket yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde betimsel ista- tistiklerden frekans, yüzde ve aritmetik ortalama kullanılmıştır. Araştırma- da, İmam Hatip Liselerine yönlendirici nedenler arasında en etkili faktörün “aile, kişisel tercih ve lise tercih puanı” olduğu görülmüştür. İmam Hatip Li- sesinin tercih edilmesindeki en etkili faktörün ise “din eğitimi” faktörü ol- duğu tespit edilmiştir. Fakat Proje İmam Hatip Liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin bu okulu tercih etmesinde “okulun eğitim kalitesi”nin daha et- kili olduğu belirlenmiştir.This paper aims to determine the factors that were effective in choosing religious vocational schools by students who get education in these schools. The descriptive survey model of quantitative research method has been used in order to reveal the research goal. The population consists of 600 students who were randomly selected from five religious vocational scho- ols, two of which include boys while other two of which include girls and the last one is a project school, all of which are located in the center of Ela- zığ, at the beginning of first term in 2017-2018 educational-training year. The research data has been obtained through survey. The frequency, per- centage and arithmetic mean of the descriptive statistics in the analysis of data have been used. It has been seen that among the guiding reasons to re- ligious vocational schools the most effective factors are “ family, personal preference and the preference score for a highschool”. This paper reveals that the most effective factor to prefer religious vocational school is “the re- ligious education”. However, it has also been found out that “the school’s educational quality” is more effective in the preference of this school for the students who receive their education in the project religious vocational schools.
