SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİNDE AFET EĞİTİMİ VE YÖNETİMİNE İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Afetler sonuçlarıyla tüm insanlığı etkilemektedir. Bu sebeple insanların afetlerle mücadele etmeleri, afet eğitimleri almaları gerekmektedir. Bunun için etkili bir afet yönetimi uygulanarak insanların afet durumlarında neler yapabilecekleri öğretilmelidir. Bu çalışmada Sosyal Bilgiler Dersinde Afet Eğitimi ve Yönetimine İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Tüm insanlığı etkileyen deprem konusu ele alınmıştır. Deprem konusunun öğretiminde kullanılan yöntem-teknik ve materyaller belirlenmiştir. Afetler ile ilgili Sosyal Bilgiler kitabının yeterliliği konusundaki bilgilere ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma nitel bir araştırmadır. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma Elazığ ilinde yer alan 3 okulda ve burada görev yapan 12 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeniyle yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme soruları ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğretmenlerin en fazla anlatım yöntemini, materyal olarak akıllı tahtayı kullandıkları görülmüştür. Öğretmenler, afetler konusuna ders kitabında yeterli oranda yer verilmediğini, ders sayısının artırılması gerektiğini ve uygulamalı eğitime ağırlık verilmesi gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir.

With their results, disasters affect all humanity. Therefore, people should struggle with disasters and they should receive disaster training. Applying an effective disaster management, people should learn how to behave during a disaster. In this study Social Studies teachers views on disaster management were tried to be determined. The subject of earthquake that affecting all humanity was discussed. Methods, techniques and materials that used in earthquake teaching were determined. The adequacy information of the Social Studies book about disasters has been reached. This search is a qualitative search. Data has been resolved with descriptive analysis method. This research was conducted in their schools in Elazig and with 12 Social Studies teachers who are working in these there schools. The data of the research were collected with semi-structured interview questions. As a result of the research, it has been seen that teachers mostly use smart board as teaching method material. Teachers stated that the subject of disasters is not given enough in the books, the number of lessons should be increased and practical training should be emphasized.
