dc.description.abstractIn this study, reflections of quantum paradigm on curriculum are discussed. The results of the study, which is a criticism of Newton and Positivist Philosophy, are as follows. In a curriculum that takes quantum as reference multiple and probable targets replace fixed targets. Context is composed of everything that interests an individual with proved and unproved information, together with proved rational and objective learning materials. Learning situation is based on observer, observant and equipment in a holistic view. In the study, it is reached that a quantum centered curriculum may bring certain advantages to an individual such as being able to cope with the complexity of life, independent perception, deep understanding, creativity and flexibility. It also attracts attention such issues that an application of a quantum based curriculum has the probability of bringing risks such as causing individuals to ignore complexity and objects, causing distrust to reason and science, and causing superstitions to leak into contents of a curriculum. As a result of the study, though quantum paradigm has some certain risks, it also has a potential to acquire new expansions for education.
