İLKOKUL TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARINDA YER ALAN METİNLERİN DEĞER EĞİTİMİ YAKLAŞIMLARINA GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

İlkokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan metin ve etkinliklerin hangi değer eğitimi yaklaşımına göre hazırlandığını tespit etmek amacıyla ders kitaplarındaki metin ve etkinlikler değer eğitimi yaklaşımlarına göre incelenmiştir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak yürütülmüş olup araştırmanın deseni doküman incelemesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma yürütülürken öncelikle Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından bölgede dağıtılan ilkokul Türkçe ders kitaplarına ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 4 sınıf düzeyinde yer alan metinlerdeki değerler ve kök değerler Ek1'deki forma göre belirlenmiş; bu değerler sınıf düzeylerine, temalara ve metin türlerine göre gruplara ayrılarak analiz edilmişlerdir. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin uyum sağladığı değer eğitimi yaklaşımını bulmak amacıyla Ek1'deki form ve Ek2'deki çizelge kullanılmış olup elde edilen veriler sınıf düzeylerine, temalara ve metin türlerine göre incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analize tabi tutulmuş ve ulaşılan sonuçlar ilgili literatürle karşılaştırılmış ve tartışılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda; ilkokul düzeyinde Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerde tüm sınıf düzeylerinde tüm kök değerlerin yer almadığı, temalarda yer alan değerlerin zorunlu temalara ve diğer temalara göre değişkenlik gösterdiği, metin türleri bağlamında ele alındığında tüm metin türlerinde eşit oranlarda değerler ve kök değerlerin yer almadığı, metinler ve etkinlikler hazırlanırken tüm değer eğitimi yaklaşımlarına eşit derecede önem verilmediği gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. In order to determine which value education approach the texts and activities included in primary school Turkish textbooks are prepared according to, the texts and activities in textbooks were examined according to value education approaches. The study was conducted using the qualitative research method and the design of the research was determined as document review. During the study, primary school Turkish textbooks distributed by the Ministry of National Education in the region were reached first. Within the scope of the study, the values and root values in the texts at the 4th grade level were determined according to the form in Annex 1; these values were analyzed by dividing them into groups according to class levels, themes and text types. In the second stage of the study, the form in Annex 1 and the table in Annex 2 were used to find the value education approach that the texts in the textbooks adapt to, and the data obtained were examined according to grade levels, themes and text types. The data obtained were subjected to descriptive analysis and the results obtained were compared with the relevant literature and discussed. At the end of the study; results have been reached such as that not all root values are included in texts contained in primary school level Turkish textbooks at all grade levels, the values contained in themes vary according to mandatory themes and other themes, values and root values are not included in equal proportions in all text types when considered in the context of text types, not all value education approaches are given equal importance when preparing texts and activities.
