7. SINIF TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARINDAKİ METİNLERİN KÖK DEĞERLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Değerler, bir toplumun dinamiklerini belirleyen, ait olduğu toplumun yaşayış biçimini sistemleştiren prensipler ve kurallar bütünüdür. Bir toplum, değerleri var olduğu ölçüde varlığını sürdürmektedir. Güncellenen ve geliştirilen mevcut öğretim programlarında da değerler eğitimine büyük ölçüde yer verildiği görülmektedir. Özellikle Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu tarafından kök değerler adı altında tasnif edilen değerler, öğretimin sistemleştirilmesine anlamlı bir katkı sağlamıştır. Bu anlamda 2019 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nda da geniş bir şekilde yer bulan kök değerler, değerler eğitiminde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabındaki yazınsal metinlerin 2019 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nda tanımlı bulunan kök değerleri ne ölçüde içerdiğini incelemek ve hangi sıklıkta yer aldığını tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırma kapsamına giren bu çalışmada doküman inceleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın veri analizi sürecinde ise içerik analizi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabı incelendiğinde kök değerlerin temalara dengeli dağıtılmadığı, bazı temalarda ve yazınsal metinlerde kök değerlerin yoğunlukla yer aldığı görülürken bazı temalarda ise hem sayısal olarak hem de çeşitlilik açısından kök değerlerin yeterince yer bulmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Values are a set of principles and rules that determine the dynamics of a society and systematize the way of life of the society to which they belong. A society continues to exist to the extent that it has values. It is seen that values education is included to a great extent in the current curricula that have been updated and developed. Especially the values classified by the Board of Education and Discipline under the name of root values have made a significant contribution to the systematization of teaching. In this sense, root values, which are widely included in the 2019 Turkish Lesson Teaching Program, have an important place in values education. The aim of this study is to examine to what extent the literary texts in the 7th grade Turkish textbook contain the root values defined in the 2019 Turkish Language Teaching Program and to determine how often they are included. For this purpose, qualitative research method was used in the study. In this study, which falls within the scope of qualitative research, document analysis technique was used. In the data analysis process of the study, content analysis technique was used. As a result of the study, when the 7th grade Turkish textbook was examined, it was determined that the root values were not distributed evenly to the themes, some themes and literary texts included root values intensively, while in some themes, root values were not sufficiently included both numerically and in terms of diversity.
