PARİS BARIŞ KONFERANSINDA ERMENİLER VE KÜRTLER

Abstract

In the Paris Conference for Peace gathered at the end of the World War I, the winners planning to form a new world order lay the foundations of many problems of the present day as well. The winners in disagreement to found the new world order take the Paris Conference as an opportunity in order to reach their secret ambitions. This paper studies how the Armenian and Kurdish questions are handled at the Conference and how the then super powers exploit the related questions for their own interests. Again this paper reveals via documents that the super powers pursue activities for their own benefit on the way to Sevres Treaty. The paper also refers briefly to the efforts to divide or terminate the Ottoman State as well as the countermeasures taken by the pioneers executing the Turkish National Struggle.

Birinci Dünya Savaşı sonunda toplanan Paris Barış Konferansında; savaşın galibi ve o zamanın güçlü devletleri yenidünya düzeni kurma düşüncesi içinde bugünün dünyasındaki pek çok problemin de temelini atmışlardır. Yenidünya düzeni kurmada; fikir ayrılıkları olan bu ülkeler, Paris Barış Konferansı ile gizledikleri düşüncelerini gerçekleştirmeye çalışmışlardır. Bu makalede, Konferansta ve konferans sırasında Ermeni ve Kürt Sorununu nasıl ele alınmış, kendi çıkarları için bu sorunu dönemin dominant güçleri nasıl kullanmışlar bunlar incelenmiştir. Sevr’e giden yolda; devrin güçlü devletleri çıkarlarını korumak için ne gibi faaliyet göstermişler, belgelerle ortaya konulmuştur. Osmanlı Devleti’ni bölme hatta yok etme gayretleri ve bu faaliyetler karşısında Türk Milli Mücadelesini yürüten devrin önderleri ne gibi tedbirler almışlardır, bunlara da kısaca değinilmiştir.
