4-6 YAŞ KUR'AN KURSU DEĞER EĞİTİMİ PROGRAMINA (2023) YÖNELİK ÖĞRETİCİ GÖRÜŞLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

1924 yılında faaliyete geçen Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı kuruluşundan itibaren din hizmetlerini yürütmek ve toplumu dini konularda bilinçlendirmek için çeşitli alanlarda faaliyetler sürdürmektedir. Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarihsel süreçte şartlar ve ihtiyaçlar değiştikçe ve geliştikçe faaliyetlerini çeşitlendirmektedir. Bu çalışma, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarafından uygulanan 4-6 yaş Kur'an Kursu Değerler Eğitimi Programına (2023) yönelik öğretici görüşlerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Erken çocukluk dönemi bireyin hayatında kritik bir dönem olduğundan bu dönemde verilecek eğitim önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda programı kurumlarda uygulayan öğreticilerin görüşleri önemli görülmektedir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma deseniyle hazırlanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Elâzığ ili Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığına bağlı 4-6 yaş Kur'an kurslarında görev yapan ve araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 20 öğretici oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, öğreticiler ile gerçekleştirilen yüz yüze görüşmeler yöntemiyle elde edilmiş; yapılan görüşmeler ses kaydına alınarak yazılı hale getirilmiştir. Bulunan veriler, içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiş; bulgular, temalar ve alt temalar şeklinde sınıflandırılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda görüşmeye katılan öğreticiler, değerler eğitimi programının genel amaçlarını, değerler eğitiminin erken çocukluk döneminde aktarılması ve 4-6 yaş grubuna göre hazırlanması gerektiğini ifade etmiştir. Programın ahlaki farkındalık kazandırmanın yanında değer gelişimi ve davranışı olumlu yönde değiştirme sürecini etkilediği vurgulanmıştır. Ancak öğreticiler, programın uygulanma sürecinde bazı sınırlılıklarla karşılaştıklarını ifade etmiştir. Bunların başında programda kullanılan yöntem ve teknik çeşitliliğinin az olduğu, drama, hikâye, oyun gibi yöntemlerin artırılması ihtiyacı yer almaktadır. Ayrıca materyal eksikliklerinin öğretimi olumsuz etkilediği, 4-6 yaş grubuna uygun görsel, işitsel ve somut materyallerin geliştirilmesinin önemli olduğu vurgulanmıştır. Öğreticiler, programın verimliliğini sağlamak amacıyla yön verici açıklamaların, etkinlik kapsamının ve materyal desteğinin artırılmasının programın olumlu yönde ilerlemesinde faydalı olacağını belirtmişlerdir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçların ve önerilerin, 4- 6 yaş Kur'an kurslarında devam edilen değerler eğitimi uygulamalarının etkisinin artırılmasına fayda sağlayacağı; Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarafından yapılandırılan değerler eğitimi programlarının geliştirilmesine yönelik çalışmalara yol gösterici olacağı ve erken çocukluk dönemi din ve değerler eğitimi alanında yapılacak araştırmalara kaynak olacağı düşünülmektedir.The Presidency of Religious Affairs, which began its activities in 1924, has carried out various activities since its establishment in order to provide religious services and raise public awareness on religious matters. The Presidency of Religious Affairs has diversified its activities throughout the historical process as conditions and needs have changed and developed. This study aims to examine the opinions of instructors regarding the 4-6 Age Qur'an Course Values Education Program (2023) implemented by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Since early childhood is a critical period in an individual's life, the education to be provided during this period is of great importance. In this context, the opinions of the instructors who implement the program in institutions are considered important. The research was prepared using a qualitative research design. The semi-structured interview method was used as the data collection tool. The study group of the research consists of 20 instructors working in 4-6 age Qur'an courses affiliated with the Presidency of Religious Affairs in the province of Elazığ, who voluntarily participated in the study. The data were obtained through face-to-face interviews with the instructors, and the interviews were audio-recorded and transcribed. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis method, and the findings were classified under themes and sub-themes. In line with the research findings, the instructors who participated in the interviews stated that the general objectives of the values education program should be to convey values education in early childhood and that the program should be prepared in accordance with the characteristics of the 4-6 age group. It was emphasized that the program not only raises moral awareness but also positively affects the process of value development and behavior change. However, the instructors stated that they encountered some limitations during the implementation process of the program. Among these limitations, it was noted that there is insufficient variety in the methods and techniques used in the program, and there is a need to increase methods such as drama, storytelling, and games. In addition, it was emphasized that the lack of materials negatively affects teaching, and that it is important to develop visual, auditory, and concrete materials suitable for the 4-6 age group. The instructors stated that in order to ensure the efficiency of the program, increasing guiding explanations, expanding the scope of activities, and providing greater material support would contribute positively to the progress of the program. It is believed that the results and recommendations obtained from the research will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of values education practices carried out in 4-6 age Qur'an courses, will guide studies aimed at developing and enriching the values education programs structured by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and will serve as a resource for future research in the field of early childhood religious and values education.
