AYRILABİLİR HİPERYÜZEYLER VE MİKRO İKTİSATTAKİ UYGULAMALARI

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, konuya temel olan argümanlara dair literatür bilgisine yer verilmiş ve pek çok yüzey türünü içinde barındıran ayrılabilir yüzeyler ele alınmıştır. Bu yüzeyler; önemli bir eğrilik değişmezi olan Gauss eğriliği cinsinden incelenmiş ve Gauss eğriliğinin özdeş olarak sıfır olduğu durumlar ifade edilmiştir. Ayrılabilir yüzeylerden hareketle Öklid uzayında ayrılabilir hiperyüzey kavramı tanımlanmış ve Gauss-Kronecker eğriliği sıfır olanlar sınıflandırılmıştır. Mikro iktisatta üretim süreçlerinin modellenmesinde anahtar kavramlardan biri olan üretim fonksiyonları tanıtılıp, üretim modellerinin analizinde diferansiyel geometrik yaklaşımların neden faydalı olduğu ve bunlarla ilgili çalışmalara değinilmiştir. Ayrıca tez içerisinde elde edilen sınıflandırma sonuçları üretim fonksiyonları cinsinden yorumlanmış ve bu tezden üretilebilecek yeni çalışmalara dair önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

In this thesis, literature knowledge about the arguments that are the basic of the subject is included and separable surfaces that contain many surface types are discussed. These surfaces are examined in terms of Gaussian curvature which is an important curvature invariant and we obtain a result when the Gaussian curvature is identically zero. Based on separable surfaces, the concept of separable hypersurfaces in Euclidean space is defined and those with zero Gauss- Kronecker curvature are classified. Production functions, one of the key concepts in the modeling of production processes in microeconomics, are introduced and related studies are mentioned where differential geometric approaches are useful in the analysis of production models. In addition, the classification results obtained in the thesis are interpreted in terms of production functions and some new ideas are made for new studies that could be produced from this thesis.
