DERSLERDEKİ VERİMLİLİK AÇISINDAN PANDEMİ DÖNEMİNDE VERİLEN UZAKTAN EĞİTİM SÜRECİNİN ROLÜ: BOZOK ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bozok Üniversitesi'nde pandemi döneminde gerçekleştirilen uzaktan eğitimin öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, 107 öğrenciye çeşitli soruları içeren bir anket uygulanmıştır. Nicel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, pandemi döneminde uygulanan uzaktan eğitimin öğrencilerin derslerdeki verimlilik üzerinde belirli bir etkisi olduğunu göstermiştir. Öğrenciler, pandemi öncesine kıyasla derslere daha az odaklandıklarını ve genel olarak verimliliklerinin düştüğünü bildirmişlerdir. Ayrıca, teknik sorunların ve evdeki dikkat dağıtıcı faktörlerin uzaktan eğitim sürecini olumsuz yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Öte yandan, bazı öğrenciler uzaktan eğitimin bazı yönlerini olumlu bulmuşlardır. Bu öğrenciler, evden çalışmanın esnekliğini ve derslere erişimin daha kolay olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu, teknolojiye daha hakim olduklarını ve dijital becerilerini geliştirdiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Ancak genel olarak, uzaktan eğitim sürecinin, özellikle pandemi döneminde, öğrencilerin derslerdeki verimliliklerini olumsuz yönde etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Çalışma, uzaktan eğitim süreçlerinin geliştirilmesi ve daha etkili hale getirilmesi için daha fazla araştırma yapılmasının gerekliliğine işaret etmektedir.

In this study, the impact of remote education implemented during the pandemic at Bozok University on students was examined. For this purpose, a questionnaire containing various questions was administered to 107 students. The data obtained using quantitative research methods were analyzed. The results of the study show that remote education applied during the pandemic has a certain effect on the productivity of students in classes. Students reported that they focused less on lessons compared to before the pandemic and that their overall productivity decreased. In addition, it was determined that technical problems and distracting factors at home negatively affected the remote education process. On the other hand, some students found some aspects of remote education positive. These students pointed out the flexibility of working from home and easier access to classes. Furthermore, a majority of students stated that they have become more proficient in technology and improved their digital skills. However, overall, it was concluded that the remote education process, especially during the pandemic, negatively affected the productivity of students in classes. The study points out the necessity for more research to be conducted to improve and make remote education processes more effective.
