TÜRKİYE'DE 1994 VE 2001 EKONOMİK KRİZLERİNİN SOSYOLOJİK YANSIMALARI

Abstract

Ekonomi, bir ülkenin geleceğini belirleyen en önemli ve büyük etkenlerden biridir. Bu sebeple ekonomi; ülkenin toplumunu etkilediği gibi uluslararası etkileşim ve ticaret alanını da etkilemektedir. Geniş bir alana etki eden ekonomi ve ekonominin olumsuz yönü olan ekonomik krizler, araştırılıp incelenmeye değer görülmektedir. Ekonomik krizlerin incelenmesi, devletin gelecekte aynı sorunları yaşamaması için yeni politikalar oluşturup uygulaması açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda devlet, ekonomik büyüme açısından alternatif yollar arar. Çünkü ekonominin olumsuz yönü olan ekonomik krizler, en çok bulunduğu toplumu etkilemektedir. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı; ekonomik krizlerin toplum üzerine etkilerini ortaya koyarak, sosyolojik yansımaların hangi alanlarda ne denli etkili olduğunu incelemektir. Bu çalışma neden önemlidir? Çalışmada Türkiye ekonomisi için 1994 ve 2001 yılları arasındaki önemli ve belirli aralıklarda gerçekleşen krizlerin topluma etkileri ve buna karşın yapılan mücadele, panel veri analizi ile incelenmiştir. Türkiye ekonomisindeki krizlerin toplum kavramı üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi sonucunda, ortaya çıkan verilere bakarak bu sorunu ortadan kaldırmak için çözüm arayışına girmek, çalışmanın olumlu etkilerden biri olacaktır. Sonuçlar açıkça göstermektedir ki ekonomik krizler; insanların hayatı boyunca sürekli ve düzenli bir şekilde dengede tutmaya çalıştığı fiziksel ve ruhsal dünyasını bozabilmektedir. Çünkü insanların fiziksel ve ruhsal davranışları üzerinde sosyal ve ekonomik koşullardaki değişmelerin her zaman etkili olduğu bilinmektedir. Türkiye ekonomisinde uygulanması gereken olgu ise gelir dağılımını iyileştirmek için önemli çalışmalar yapılması gerektiğidir. Adaletli gelir dağılımı, ülkede yaşayan bireyler için daha kaliteli bir yaşam sunmaktadır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Ekonomi, Kriz, Toplum, Sosyolojik Yansıma.

Economy is one of the most important and major factors determining the future of a country. For this reason, the economy affects the society of the country as well as international interaction and trade. The economy, which affects a wide area, and economic crises, which are the negative aspects of the economy, are considered worthy of research and study. Analyzing economic crises is important for the state to create and implement new policies to prevent the same problems in the future. In this context, the state seeks alternative ways for economic growth. Because economic crises, which are the negative aspects of the economy, affect the society in which it is located the most. The aim of this thesis is to reveal the effects of economic crises on society and to examine how effective the sociological reflections are in which areas. Why is this study important? In this study, the effects of significant and periodic crises in the Turkish economy between 1994 and 2001 on the society and the struggle against these crises are analyzed through panel data analysis. As a result of examining the impact of the crises in the Turkish economy on the concept of society, one of the positive effects of the study will be to search for solutions to eliminate this problem by looking at the resulting data. The results clearly show that economic crises can disrupt the physical and mental world that people try to keep in balance in a continuous and regular way throughout their lives. Because it is known that changes in social and economic conditions are always effective on people's physical and mental behaviors. The fact that needs to be implemented in the Turkish economy is that important work needs to be done to improve income distribution. Equitable income distribution offers a better quality of life for individuals living in the country. Keywords: Economy, Crisis, Society, Sociological Reflection.
