ÇOKLU ZEKÂ UYGULAMALARININ SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİNDE ÖĞRENCİLERİN AKADEMİK BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu yüksek lisans tezi beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; sınırlılıklara, sayıtlılara, tanımlara ve araştırmanın önemine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada; çoklu zekâ kuramı uygulamalarının sosyal bilgiler dersinde öğrencilerin akademik başarısına etkisini belirmek amaçlanmıştır.Araştırmanın ikinci bölümünde sosyal bilgiler ve çoklu zekâ kuramı incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde evren ve örneklem, araştırmanın modeli ve verilerin toplanması ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2008?2009 yılı Türkiye genelinde sosyal bilgiler eğitimi gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Bu evren içerisinde Tunceli ili, Çemişgezek ilçesi, Payamdüzü İlköğretim Okulu, 6-A ve 6-B sınıfları örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Konu ?Tuna'dan Altaylara Bir Büyük Millet ve Demokrasinin Serüveni? konularıyla sınırlı tutulmuştur. Araştırmada deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın hipotezlerini test etmek için kontrol gruplu ön test-son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilen SPSS programında çözümlenmiştir.Araştırmanın dördüncü bölümünde bulgular, beşinci bölümünde ise sonuç ve öneriler bulunmaktadır. Araştırmada kontrol ve deney gruplarına hazır bulunuşluklarını belirlemek için uygulanan ön test sonuçları bir birine yakın çıkmıştır. Sınıflara ait cinsiyet, yaş gibi parametrelerde bu durumu desteklemiştir. Yapılan dört haftalık eğitim sonrası uygulanan son testlerde deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir sonuç bulunmuştur. Bu veriler ile çoklu zekâ uygulamalarının geleneksel yöntemlere kıyasla akademik başarıyı artırdığı ortaya konulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çoklu Zekâ Kuramı, Çoklu Zeka Kuramı Uygulamaları, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretimi, Geleneksel Yöntem, Yeni İlköğretim Programı.

This graduate degree thesis was comprised from five chapters. In the first chapter; it was accented to limitedness, sample, definitions and importance of investigation. In this investigation, it was goaled to determine effect of applications of multiple intelligent theory about academic success of students about social sciences lecture.In the second chapter of investigation, social sciences and multiple intelligent theory were examined. In the third chapter of investigation, population and paradigm, investigation method and gathering data were approached. Population of investigation was formed by students study social sciences education in 2008-2009, in Turkey. In this population 6-A and 6-B grades? students of Payamdüzü Grammar School were chosen as sample in Çemişgezek, in Tunceli city. Subject was restricted about ?Democracy Adventure and A Great Nation from Danube to Altai?. Experimental method was applied in investigation. Preliminary test and final test method with control group were applied to test hypothesis of investigation. Gathered data was analysed by SPSS program.Findings are exist in the fourth chapter of investigation, results and suggestions are exist in the fifth chapter. Results of preliminary test and final test for determination presence to experiment and contrrol groups in investigation were almost same. Parametes such as ages, sex of students were supported these tests. An expressive result was obtained in experiment group?s favor from final tests applied after four education weeks. As result, applications of multiple intelligent are increasing academic success better than traditional method by gathered data.Key Words: Multiple Intelligence Theory, Multiple Intelligence Theory Applications, Social Studies teaching, Classical Method, New Elementary Education Program
