RAFTİNG SPORCULARININ ZİHİNDE CANLANDIRMA İLE SPORTİF ÖZGÜVEN DÜZEYLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, ülkemizdeki rafting sporcularında imgelemenin sportif güven üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi ve imgelemenin sonucunun farklı değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin belirlenmesidir. 2021 Türkiye Rafting Şampiyonası 2. Etap yarışmalarının pandemi nedeniyle iptal edilmesinden dolayı Araştırma evrenini 2020 yılında yapılan 1. Ayak Türkiye Rafting Şampiyonasına katılan 350 lisanslı sporcu oluşturmuştur. Örneklemini ise bu turnuvaya katılan sporculardan gönüllülük esasına göre seçilmiş 221 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak demografik bilgileri kapsayan sorular, Sporda İmgeleme Envanteri Ölçeği ve Sürekli Sportif Kendine Güven Ölçeği (SSKGÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi yapılırken SPSS 22,0 istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma grubunun, değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymak amacıyla bağımlı guruplar için "Independent Sample t-Testi" ve guruplar arası çoklu farklılıklarda "Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA)" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmamızda katılımcıların eğitim durumu, cinsiyet, gelir durumu, yaş, spor yapma yılı ve medeni durum değişkenleri açısından her iki ölçekte ve alt boyutlarında herhangi bir anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmadığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca katılımcıların ölçeklerden aldıkları puanlar sonucunda yapılan korelasyon testi sonucunda alt boyutlar arsındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. "Sporda İmgeleme Ölçeği" alt boyutlarından "Motivasyonel Genel Uyarılmışlık" alt boyutu ile " Motivasyonel Özel İmgeleme" alt boyutları arasında düşük derecede negatif yönlü bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Yine aynı ölçek alt boyutlarından yft54"Motivasyonel Özel İmgeleme" ile "Bilişsel Genel İmgeleme" alt boyutu arasında düşük düzeyde pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak rafting sporcularının sportif imgeleme ile sportif güvenleri ve demografik özellikleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılığa rastlanmadığı görülmüştür. Literatürde sporcuların zihinde canlandırma ile sportif özgüven düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki üzerine yapılan çalışmaların sınırlı olması sebebiyle çalışmamızın literatüre katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this survey is to analyse the rafting sportsmen's imagination's effect on the sportive confidence.The survey also aims to define whether the result of the imagination indicate any difference or not in accordance with the different factors. Due to the cancellation of the 2021 Turkish Rafting Championship 2nd stage competitions because of the pandemic, this research consists of 350 licensed athletes who participated in the 1st stage of Turkey Rafting Championship held in 2020. Therefore my sample consists of 221 athletes who are selected on a voluntary basis from those participating in this tournamaent. In this survey, the questions consisting of demograpraphic information, The Scale of Imagery Inventory in Sport and The Continuous Sportive Self-Confidence Scale are used.While performing the analysis SPSS 22,0 statistic program was used.The significance level was defined as P< 0.05. "Independent Sample t-Test" for dependent groups and "One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)" for multiple differences between groups were used to reveal whether the research group differed according to the variables. In the survey, it is seen that a significant difference doesn't occur in both two scales and their sub-dimensions in terms of factors such as educational status,gender,income status,age, the year of doing sports and marital status of the participants. Moreover,the relation between the sub-dimensions as a result of correlation done with the scores obtained by the participants from the test is examined. A low degree of negative relationship has been detected between The Scale of Imagery Inventory's sub-dimensions 'Motivational General Arousal' and 'Motivational Custom Imagery'.Besides this, a low degree of positive relationship has been found between the same scales' sub-dimensions 'Motivational Custom Imagery' and ' Cognitive General Imagery'. As a result,it has been understtod that there isn't any significant difference rafting athletes' sportive imagination and sportive confidence. As the study about the relation between the visualization of athletes and sportive self-confidence is so limited in literature, it is thought that our survey will provide a contribution to the literature.
