SOL JEL METODU İLE ZNO-CDO NANOMALZEMELERİN ÜRETİLMESİ VE KARAKTERİZASYONU

Abstract

Teknolojinin hızla ilerlemesi ile araştırma ve geliştirme çalışmaları, birbirine alternatif olacak yeni üretim teknikleri ortaya çıkarmıştır. Ortaya çıkan bu teknikler arasından ivme kazanan ince filmler çok geniş kullanım alanına sahiptir. Bu çalışmada sol-jel metodu ile ZnO ve CdO ince filmler üretilmiştir. Sol-jel spin kaplama metoduyla kuartz altlıklara kaplanmak üzere farklı oranlarda dört numune hazırlanmıştır. ZnO ince ?lmler sol-jel spin kaplama metodu ile cam altlıklar üzerinde biriktirilmiştir. Hazırlanan ?lmlere aynı sıcaklık ve sürelerde ısıl işleme tabii tutulmuştur. Bu çalışmada hedeflenen temel amaç, ince filmler için uygun olan, yüksek saflıkta malzeme üretilebilen, malzemelerin homojen ve toz boyutunun mikron altında olması gibi avantajları bulunan sol-jel yöntemi ile üretilen numunelerin AFM, optik ve iletkenlik ölçümleri yapılarak analiz edilmesidir. Bu amaçla, yaptığımız çalışmada Kadmiyum (Cd) ile katkılanan çinko oksit (ZnO) filmlerin katkılanma sonrası sahip olacağı karakteristikler incelenmiştir. ZnO filmler, şeffaf iletken oksitlerin en dikkat çeken malzemelerden biri olup optoelektronik teknolojisinde çokça tercih edilir. ZnO, Cd ile katkılandığında oluşan yasak enerji aralığı değeri, katkılanan Cd'nin konsantrasyonunun eklenmesi ile arttırıldı. Bu çalışmada, Cd katkılı ZnO filmler sol-jel döndürerek kaplama tekniği ile cam altlık üzerinde biriktirilmiştir. Döndürerek kaplamanın parametrelerini değiştirerek kaplama için optimum olduğu şartlar belirlenmiştir. Uygun parametre bulunduktan sonra her bir film için aynı parametre uygulanmıştır. Oluşan filmlerin morfolojik, yapısal ve optiksel özellikleri sırasıyla, Atomik kuvvet mikroskobu (AFM), UV-Visible Spektroskopisi kullanılarak karakterize edilmiş ve bu özellikler üzerine katkılamanın etkileri incelenmiştir. Cd katkılı ZnO filmlerinin yüzey morfolojisinin Cd katkılaması ile değiştiği gözlemlenmiştir. Elde edilen filmlerin optik özellikleri incelenerek direkt bant geçişli malzemeler oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan bu incelemeler sonucunda, elde edilen filmlerin yapısal, morfolojik, ve optik özelliklerin katkılama konsantrasyonuna göre değiştiği belirlenmiştir.With the rapid progress of technology, research and development studies have created new production techniques that will be alternative to each other. Thin films gaining momentum among these emerging techniques have a wide range of applications. In this study, ZnO and CdO thin films were produced by sol-gel method. Four samples in different proportions were prepared to be coated with quartz substrates by sol-gel spin coating method. ZnO thin films were deposited on glass substrates by sol-gel spin coating method. The prepared ions were heat treated at the same temperature and times. The main objective of this study is to analyze AFM, optical and conductivity measurements of samples produced by sol-gel method, which is suitable for thin films, which can produce high purity material, has the advantages of homogeneous materials and powder size below micron. For this purpose, the characteristics of Cadmium (Cd) doped zinc oxide (ZnO) films were investigated. ZnO films are one of the most striking materials of transparent conductive oxides and are highly preferred in optoelectronic technology. The forbidden energy interval value when ZnO was added by Cd could not be increased by adding the concentration of the added Cd. In this study, Cd doped ZnO films were deposited on glass mat by sol-gel rotating coating technique. By changing the parameters of the coating by rotating, the conditions in which the coating is very good were determined. When the appropriate parameter was found, the same parameter was applied for each film. The morphological, structural and optical properties of the films were characterized by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and UV-Visible Spectroscopy, respectively, and the effects of addition on these properties were investigated. It was observed that the surface morphology of Cd doped ZnO films changed with Cd doping. The optical properties of the films were examined and it was determined that they were direct band pass materials. As a result of these investigations, it was determined that the structural, morphological, optical properties of the obtained films varied according to the doping concentration.
