557 NUMARALI AFYON KARAHİSÂR-I SÂHİB SANCAĞI ŞER'İYYE SİCİLİ

Abstract

Şer'iyye Sicilleri, mahkemeye intikal eden meseleler ve kadıların verdikleri kararların kaydedildiği defterlerdir. Bu defterler, Osmanlı tarihi araştırmalarında önemli kaynaklardan biridir. Özellikle şehir tarihi çalışmalarında kıymetli bilgileri ihtiva ederler. 557 numaralı Karahisâr-ı Sahip Sancağı Şer'iyye Sicili,H.27 Safer 1208- Cemâziye'1-âhir 1213, M.3/4 Ekim 1793 - Mayıs 1799 tarihinde tutulmuş olup, bu dönemde şehrin sosyal ve iktisadi yapısına ışık tutmaktadır. Bu defterde, Osmanlı muhakeme hukukunun XVIII. yüzyılda işleyişi görülmektedir. Ayrıca defterdeki kayıtlardan AfyonKarahisâr'da yaşayan halkın sosyal statüsü, kültür seviyesi, iktisadi durumu ve şehrin ekonomik yapısı ile ilgili genel bir bilgiye ulaşılabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada belgelerdeki veriler belli bir plan dahilinde değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Netice olarak XVIII. yüzyıl sonlarında AfyonKarahisâr'da sosyal ve iktisadi hayatın oldukça hareketli olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.The religiouscoust report are the registers of Kadi judgement and the matters passing to the court. This registers are one of the important sources at the Ottoman History Studies. Especially, they consist of important in formation on the studies of city history. The Karahisâr-i Sahib Sancağı Şer'iyye Sicili with 557 number which registired in between H.27 Safer 1208 - Jumada II 1213, D.C.03/04 October 1793 and May 1 799, makes clear the city's economic and social structure, In the registers, it has been seen the proceedings of the religious court law. Besides, from the registers, are arrived at general in formation about the citizen of AfyonKarahisâr's social place, the cultural level, the economic condition, and the economic structure of city. In this study, the data of registers have been sot to an evaluation according to the noticed plan. Finally, it has been understood that the economic and social life of Afyon Karahisâr had very dynamic at the last years of eighteenth century.
