SPOR BİLİMLERİ FAKÜLTESİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ DEPREM SONRASI TRAVMA DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

SPOR BİLİMLERİ FAKÜLTESİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ DEPREM SONRASI TRAVMA DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ Bu araştırmanın amacı, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğretmen adaylarının deprem sonrası travma düzeylerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli kullanılmış, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğretmen adaylarının deprem sonrası travma düzeyi sosyodemografik özelliklerine göre taranmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni; Malatya, Elazığ ve Adıyaman illerinde Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde eğitim almakta olan 480 öğrencidir. Araştırmanın örneklem gurubunun belirlenmesinde doğrudan örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda Malatya, Elazığ ve Adıyaman illerinden (her ilden 120 öğretmeni adayı) 360 Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğretmen adayına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Tanhan ve Kayri tarafından geliştirilen Deprem Sonrası Travma Düzeyini Belirleme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS 22 İstatistiksel analiz programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma veri setinin iç tutarlılık düzeyinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla Cronbach Alpha analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan normallik analizinde araştırma verilerinin normal dağılımda olduğu belirlenerek parametrik analizler (t Testi, Anova Testi) uygulanmış, değişkenler arasında anlamlı farklılığın nereden kaynaklandığını ortaya koymak için TUKEY testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde tüm testler için anlamlılık düzeyi (p<0,05) olarak alınmıştır. Araştırmada, kadın öğrencilerin duyuşsal ve uyku problemleri düzeyinin erkek öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu, 21-23 yaşları arasında olan ve 2. Sınıfta olan öğrencilerin kendilerine göre daha küçük yaşlarda ve düşük eğitim düzeyinde olan öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu, deprem eğitimi almış olan öğrencilerin bilişsel yapılanma düzeyinin deprem eğitimi almamış öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada öğrencilerin deprem sonrası travma düzeyinin düşük düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğretmen adaylarının deprem sonrası travma düzeyinde cinsiyet, yaş, öğrenim durumu ve afet eğitimi almalarının etkili olduğu belirlenirken, bir spor branşı ile uğraşma durumunun deprem sonrası travma düzeyinde farklılaşmaya sebep olmadığı belirlenmiştir. DETERMINATION OF POST-EARTHQUAKE TRAUMA LEVELS OF SPORTS SCIENCES FACULTY TEACHER CANDIDATES The aim of this research is to determine the post-earthquake trauma levels of prospective teachers of the Faculty of Sports Sciences. In the research, the screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used, and the post-earthquake trauma levels of the prospective teachers of the Faculty of Sports Sciences were scanned according to their socio-demographic characteristics. The universe of the research is 480 students receiving education at the Faculty of Sports Sciences in the provinces of Malatya, Elazığ and Adıyaman. Direct sampling method was used to determine the sample group of the research. In line with the purpose of the research, 360 prospective teachers of the Faculty of Sports Sciences (120 prospective teachers from each province) were reached from the provinces of Malatya, Elazığ and Adıyaman. The Post-Earthquake Trauma Level Determination Scale developed by Tanhan and Kayri was used as the data collection tool in the research. SPSS 22 statistical analysis program was used in the analysis of the research data. Cronbach Alpha analysis was conducted in order to determine the internal consistency level of the research data set. In the normality analysis, it was determined that the research data were normally distributed and parametric analyses (t Test, Anova Test) were applied, and the TUKEY test was applied to reveal where the significant difference between the variables originated. In the analysis of the research data, the significance level was taken as (p<0.05) for all tests. In the research, it was determined that the level of emotional and sleep problems of female students was higher than male students, that the students between the ages of 21-23 and in the 2nd year were higher than the students who were younger and had a lower level of education, and that the cognitive structure level of students who received earthquake training was higher than the students who did not receive earthquake training. The study determined that the post-earthquake trauma level of the students was low. As a result of the research, it was determined that gender, age, educational status and receiving disaster training were effective in the post-earthquake trauma level of sports science faculty teacher candidates, while it was determined that being involved in a sports branch did not cause a difference in the post-earthquake trauma level.
