BİLGİ VE İLETİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ VE EKONOMİK BÜYÜME İLİŞKİSİ: TÜRKİYE ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, bilgi iletişim teknolojileri (BİT) ve ekonomik büyüme konularına değinilmektedir. Günümüzde hızla gelişen teknoloji ve artan rekabet ortamına bağlı olarak, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin kullanımı daha da yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu durum, bireysel yaşamdan örgütsel verime kadar her alanı etkilemektedir. Dolayısıyla, böylesine etkin bir sürecin ekonomik büyüme ile de önemli bir ilişkisinin olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada da söz konusu ilişkinin ele alınması amaçlanmış, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri ile ekonomik büyüme konuları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada Türkiye özelinde BİT ve ekonomik büyüme ilişkisi, literatür ışığında ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca kurumlardan elde edilen verilerle, Türkiye'de mevcut durumun değerlendirmesine yer verilmiştir.

This study addresses the topics of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and economic growth. Given the rapid advancements in technology and the increasing competitive environment, the utilization of information and communication technologies is becoming more widespread. This phenomenon impacts various domains, ranging from individual lifestyles to organizational productivity. Therefore, it is believed that such a dynamic process is significantly related to economic growth. The aim of this study is to explore this relationship, evaluating both the ICT and economic growth aspects. Specifically focusing on Turkey, the study examines the correlation between ICT and economic growth, guided by existing literature. Additionally, an assessment of the current situation in Turkey is provided using data obtained from institutions.
