Deprem Bölgesi Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin Deprem Sonrası Eğitim Öğretimle İlgili Görüşleri

Abstract

6 Şubat 2023’te Kahramanmaraş merkezli iki şiddetli depremden tüm ülke olumsuz etkilenmesine rağmen özellikle 11 il çok boyutlu olarak etkilenmiştir. Depremden belli bir süre sonra deprem bölgesinde de okullar kademeli olarak açılmış, eğitim öğretime başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, deprem bölgesinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin, depremden sonra başlayan eğitim – öğretim süreçlerine ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca uygun olarak tarama modeli bir çalışma tasarlanmış, 220 sınıf öğretmenine ulaşılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında, deprem bölgesinde bulunan araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı hem açık uçlu hem de kapalı uçlu sorular yer almaktadır. Ankette yer alan sorular, öğretmenlerin depremle ilgili duygu durumları ve kişisel tecrübeleri, paydaşlarla iletişim süreci, öğrencilere ilişkin gözlemler ile eğitim – öğretim süreçlerine ilişkin sorular yer almaktadır. Öğretmenler anketi doldurduktan sonra eksik bırakılan anketler analiz dışı bırakılmıştır. Veri analizinde açık uçlu olan soruların cevapları da nicelleştirilmiş tüm soruların cevapları betimsel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin okulların yeniden açılmasını olumlu gördükleri, stres düzeylerinin arttığı, dikkat ve motivasyon sürelerinin azaldığı gibi sonuçlar araştırmanın başlıca sonuçları arasındadır.

On 6 February 2023, although the whole country was adversely affected by two severe earthquakes centred in Kahramanmaraş, 11 provinces were particularly affected in a multidimensional manner. After a certain period of time after the earthquake, schools were gradually opened in the earthquake zone and education started. In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of classroom teachers working in the earthquake zone about the education and training processes that started after the earthquake. In accordance with this purpose, a survey model study was designed and 220 classroom teachers were reached. A data collection tool created by the researchers in the earthquake zone was used to collect the data. The data collection tool includes both open-ended and closed-ended questions. The questions in the questionnaire include questions about teachers' feelings and personal experiences related to the earthquake, communication process with stakeholders, observations about students and education and training processes. After the teachers filled out the questionnaire, incomplete questionnaires were excluded from the analysis. In the data analysis, the answers to the open-ended questions were also quantified and the answers to all questions were analysed descriptively. Upon examining the primary research findings, it is evident that the teachers had a favourable outlook towards the reopening of schools. However, it is noteworthy that their stress levels increased while their attention and motivation periods decreased
