Eıphytıc Algae of the Potamogeton Lucens L. Collected from Karkamış Dam Lake (Gazıantep)

Abstract

In this study, the epiphytic algae of Potamogeton lucens (L.) of collected from Karkamış Dam Lake (Gaziantep) between May 2015-November 2015, were investigated. A total of 35 taxa belonging to Bacillariophyta, (30), Chlorophyta (3) and Cyanophyta (2) were identified during this research. Diatoms (Bacillariophyta) to the number of taxa, as well as the emergence of epiphytic algae were the most important in terms of both the frequency of occurrence and number of individuals. In diatoms Gomphonema spp., Cocconeis spp., Navicula spp., Fragilaria spp., Nitzschia spp. with Cymbella spp. were remarkable in terms of the frequency of occurrence

Bu çalışmada Gaziantep ilindeki Karkamış Baraj Gölü? nden toplanan Potamogeton lucens (L.) üzerindeki epifitik algler Mayıs 2015-Kasım 2015 tarihleri arasında araştırılmıştır. Araştırma süresince 30 Bacillariophyta, 3 Chlorophyta ve 2 Cyanophyta? ya ait olmak üzere toplam 35 takson belirlenmiştir. Diyatomeler (Bacillariophyta) gerek takson sayısı gerekse ortaya çıkış sıklıkları ve birey sayıları bakımından en önemli epifitik algler olmuşlardır. Diyatomeler içerisinde Gomphonema spp., Cocconeis spp., Navicula spp., Fragilaria spp., Nitzschia spp. ve Cymbella spp. ortaya çıkış sıklığı bakımından dikkat çekici olmuşlardır
