İLKÖĞRETİM 5. SINIF SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİ KAZANIMLARI İLE DERS KİTABINDA ÖNERİLEN ETKİNLİKLERİN UYGUNLUK DÜZEYİ (ELAZIĞ İLİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract

Bu araştırma İlköğretim 5. sınıf 2004 Sosyal Bilgiler Programında yer alan kazanımların ders kitabında önerilen etkinliklere uygunluk düzeyine yönelik öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Elazığ ili İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı merkez ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 5. sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Programda yer alan kazanımlarla ders kitaplarında önerilen etkinliklerin uygunluk düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla veri toplama aracı geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen veri toplama aracının geçerlik ve güvenirliğini sağlamak amacıyla 2008 yılı itibariyle Elazığ merkezindeki ilköğretim okullarında 5.sınıf okutan 30 öğretmene ön uygulama yapılmıştır. Daha sonra uzman görüşleri alınarak son hali verilen anket formu 2007-2008 öğretim yılında Elazığ il merkezindeki 5. sınıf okutan 198 öğretmene araştırmacı tarafından uygulanmıştır.Öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, kıdem, mezun olunan okul türü ve sınıf mevcudu durumu açısından görüşleri değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirilen anket formlarından elde edilen veriler SPSS programıyla çözümlenmiştir. Anlamlılık testlerinde 0,05 düzeyi esas alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda görüşleri alınan öğretmenlerin genel olarak cinsiyet, kıdem, mezun olunan okul türü ve sınıf mevcudu değişkenlerine göre görüşlerinin benzer ve olumlu yönde olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

This research was performed to determine the teacher ideas related to the level appropriateness of activities to the acquisitions that were included in the course book of five (5) class Primary Education School, Social Sciences Teaching Program in 2004. The target population of this research consists of five class teachers who were working in primary schools in Elazığ downtown.The descriptive scanning model was used in this research. The data collection instruments were developed to determine the level of appropriateness of the activities that were proposed in the course books with the acquisitions which were included in the program. The preliminary application was done on 30 teachers who taught the five (5) classes in the Primary Education Schools in Elazığ downtown in 2007-2008 to provide the validity and reliability of the data collection instruments which were developed. After that, the questionnaire that was given the last form by taking the export ideas, was administered to 198 teacher who taught five (5) class by the researcher in Elazığ downtown in 2007-2008.The ideas of the teachers were evaluated by the variables of gender, tenure, the kind of school which they graduated and the classroom size. The data which were collected by the questionnaire forms was analyzed with the SPSS program. The significance level of 0,05 was taken basis in the analysis. As a result of the research, it was seen that the views of teachers were similar and positive according to the variables of gender, tenure, the kind of school which they graduated and the classroom size.
