MELİSA KESMEZ ÖYKÜLERİNİN DİL VE ÜSLUP BAKIMINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Çalışmada Çağdaş dönem öykü yazarlarından Melisa Kesmez'in "Atları Bağlayın Geceyi Burada Geçireceğiz", "Bazen Bahar", "Nohut Oda" ve "Küçük Yuvarlak Taşlar" adlı öykü kitaplarında yer alan 42 öykü dil ve üslup bakımından incelenmiştir. Çalışmada öykü merkezli yöntemle Melisa Kesmez'in dil ve üslubu ile ilgili sonuçlara ulaşmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu maksatla ilk bölümde Melisa Kesmez'in yaşamı, yazın yaşamı ve eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İkici bölümde yazarın dil ve üslup özelliklerini tespit etmek adına; anlatım teknikleri, iç monolog, iç diyalog, dış diyalog, bilinç akışı, anlatma, gösterme ve tasvir, montaj, leitmotive, anlatım biçimleri, örnekleri tespit edilerek öykünün akışına katkıları açıklanmıştır. Anlatı izlencesi/sözdizimi bölümünde ise her öykünün başta, ortada ve sondan seçilen toplam 100 sözcük, çalışmanın bütününde ise 4200 sözcük türü bakımından tasnif edilmiş ve aynı başlık altında her öykünün başta, ortada ve sondan seçilen toplam 100 cümle türü bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise dört öykü kitabının her birinin toplamda kaç sözcükten oluştuğu, bu eserlerde madde başı kaç sözcüğün yer aldığı ve tekrarlanan sözcük sayıları tespit edilmiştir. Öykü kitaplarında en fazla tekrar edilen 10 sözcük tasnif edilmiştir. Çıkarımlardan elde edilen sayısal ve nesnel verilerle yazarın dili kullanma kapasitesi ve dile hâkimiyeti ortaya konulmuştur. In this study, 42 stories from the story books "Atları Bağlayın Geceyi Burada Geçireceğiz" (Tie the Horses, We'll Spend the Night Here), "Bazen Bahar" (Sometimes Spring), "Nohut Oda" (Chickpea Room), and "Küçük Yuvarlak Taşlar" (Small Round Stones) by contemporary story writer Melisa Kesmez were analyzed in terms of language and style. The aim of the study was to reach conclusions about Melisa Kesmez's language and style using a story-centered aproach. For this purpose, the first chapter provides information about Melisa Kesmez's life, literary career, and works. In the second chapter, in order to determine the author's language and style characteristics, narrative techniques such as internal monologue, internal dialogue, external dialogue, stream of consciousness, narration, showing and describing, montage, leitmotif, narrative forms, and examples were identified and their contributions to the flow of the story were explained. In the narrative syntax section, a total of 100 words were selected from the beginning, middle, and end of each story, and a total of 4,200 words were classified in terms of word types throughout the study. Similarly, a total of 100 sentence types were evaluated for each story in terms of sentence structure. In the third chapter of the study, the total number of words in each of the four story books, the number of words per section in these works, and the number of repeated words were determined. The 10 most frequently repeated words in the story books were classified. The author's capacity to use language and mastery of language were revealed through the numerical and objective data obtained from the deductions.
