Bilişim Teknolojileri Öğretmenlerinin Üniversitede Aldıkları Eğitim-Öğretimin Mesleki Hayata Etkilerine Yönelik Görüşleri

Abstract

1739 Sayılı Milli Eğitim Temel Kanunu’nun 43. Maddesine göre, öğretmenlik, devletin eğitim, öğretim ve bununla ilgili yönetim görevlerini üzerine alan özel bir ihtisas mesleğidir. Öğretmenlik mesleğine hazırlık genel kültür, özel alan eğitimi ve pedagojik formasyonla sağlanır. Günümüzde öğretmen yetiştirme görevini, üniversitelerin ilgili Eğitim Fakülteleri ile Teknik Eğitim Fakülteleri üstlenmiştir (Gizemlikapı,2012). Fakülteler bu görevi yeterince başarıyla sürdürebiliyorlar mı? Öğretmenlik ünvanını alan bir insan o göreve ve alanına dair en temel bilgilere sahip olabiliyor mu? Özellikle de Bilişim Teknolojileri gibi sürekli güncellenen bir ana bilim dalı için bu eğitimin önemi çok büyük bir rol oynamaktadır. İşte sorulan tüm bu sorular çalışmanın esas problemini oluşturmaktadır. Ülkemizde Bilişim Teknolojileri Öğretmeni yetiştiren birçok fakülte vardır.Bu fakültelerde verilen eğitim sayesinde öğretmen adayları alanlarını tanımakta, öğrenmekte ve alan bilgisi edinmektedirler. Ancak verilen eğitim her zaman ve her öğrencide aynı sonucu vermemektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı; öğretmenlerin aldığı bu eğitimin mesleki hayata katkısının ne kadar olduğunu ölçmektir. Anket formunun; 36'sı Elazığ ili içindeki, 29'u ise internet üzerinden il dışındaki Bilişim Teknolojileri Öğretmenleri'ne ulaşılarak doldurmaları sağlanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmenlerin üniversitede aldıkları eğitimin, mesleki hayata etkilerinin olumlu olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

According to Article 43 of the National Education Basic Law No: 1739, teaching is a specialty profession, which undertakes the educational and relevant administration tasks of the government. Preparation to the profession of teaching is provided through general knowledge, special field education, and pedagogical formation. Today, the task of training teachers is undertaken by the relevant Education Faculties and Faculties of Technical Education in the universities (Gizemlikapı, 2012). Do the faculties sustain this duty successfully enough? Is a person, assuming the title of teacher, able to have the basic knowledge about related duty and field? This education plays a very important role especially for a frequently-updated department like Information Technologies. All these questions constitute the main problem of the study. There are numerous faculties which train Information Technologies Teachers in our country. The education provided in these faculties enables the pre-service teachers to get acquainted with and learn their fields and obtain field information. However, the education provided does not always give the same result in every student. The purpose of this study is to measure the contribution of this education, which teachers receive, to the professional life. 36 questionnaire forms were filled by Information Technologies Teachers in Elazığ Province and 29 questionnaire forms were filled by teachers outside of the province via internet. According to findings of the study, it was concluded that the education, which teachers receive in the university, has positive effects on the professional life
