Abstract

Maniler; bir milletin, bir kentin kültürel dokusunu, duygusal ve düşünsel hafızasını nesilden nesile sözlü olarak aktaran, genellikle yedi heceli, tek dörtlükten oluşan anonim şiirlerdir. Manilerin anonim halk edebiyatını temsil eden bir tür olması; onu ortak duygularda buluşmayı kolaylaştıran, ayrıştırmanın zor olduğu bir tür haline getirmiştir. Sözlü geleneğin diğer türleri gibi maniler de anonim olmalarına bağlı olarak, ortaya çıktığı ilk söylenişe sadık kalamamıştır. Toplumsal ve bireysel tutumların değişmesi ile sosyal ve kültürel gelişim, bu söyleyişleri kısmen de olsa değiştiren unsurlar olmuştur. Maniler, bölgeden bölgeye nakledililirken içeriğindeki bazı değişiklikler, maninin yerleştiği toplumun kültürüyle açıklanabilir. Bir yöreye ya da bir bölgeye özgü manileri incelerken keskin çizgiler çizmek yerine; o yörenin değerleri, olmazları ve estetik yargılarını, toplumun ortak zevk ve değerleriyle karşılaştırarak betimlemek daha anlamlı olacaktır. Yöreyi yakından tanıtan maniler ışığında, kentin dokusuna ulaşmak mümkündür. Eldeki manilerin; lirik, epik, pastoral, didaktik ve satirik şiir türlerine uygun olması, manilerin zengin içerikler olduğunu kanıtlamaktadır. Kişilerin ve yörenin ortak bilincinin ve duyuş, düşünüş izlerinin tespit edilen manilerle çözümlenebilmesi, halk bilimi açısından önemlidir. Dokuz bölümden oluşan çalışmamız, Diyarbakır ili ve çevre ilçelerinden derlenen manileri kapsamaktadır. Amacımız; manilerin işlev ve amaçlarını, elde edilen veriler kapsamında açıklamak, yorumlamak ve değerlendirmektir. Ulaşacağımız sonuçlar, halk biliminin araştırma alanlarını aydınlatmak, toplumun geçmişi ile geleceği arasında köprü kuran kök değerlere ulaşmak gibi konularda işlevsel olacaktır.

Manis are anonymous poems, typically consisting of seven syllables and a single quatrain, that verbally transmit a nation's or city's cultural fabric and emotional and intellectual memory from generation to generation. The fact that manis represent a type of anonymous folk literature has made them a genre that facilitates shared emotions and is difficult to categorize. Like other types of oral tradition, folk poems, due to their anonymity, have not remained faithful to their original form. Changes in social and individual attitudes, along with social and cultural development, have been factors that have altered these expressions, at least to some extent. When folk poems are transmitted from region to region, some changes in their content can be explained by the culture of the society in which the folk poem has taken root. When examining rhymes specific to a region or area, rather than drawing sharp lines, it would be more meaningful to describe them by comparing the values, taboos, and aesthetic judgments of that region with the common tastes and values of society. Through the lens of folk songs that closely introduce the region, it is possible to understand the fabric of the city. The fact that the folk songs at hand are suitable for lyrical, epic, pastoral, didactic, and satirical poetry genres proves that they have rich content. The ability to decipher the common consciousness and traces of feeling and thinking of individuals and the region through the identified folk songs is important from the perspective of folklore. Our study, consisting of nine sections, covers folk songs collected from Diyarbakır province and surrounding districts. Our aim is to explain, interpret, and evaluate the functions and purposes of folk songs within the scope of the data obtained. The results we will achieve will be functional in illuminating the research areas of folklore and reaching the core values that bridge the past and future of society
