SEYF-İ SARÂYÎ'NİN GÜLİSTAN TERCÜMESİ'NDE İSİMLERİN KAVRAM ALANINA GÖRE TASNİFİ

Abstract

Dillerin söz varlığı, sadece seslerin bir araya gelmesiyle oluşan bir yapıdan ibaret değildir; aynı zamanda o dili konuşan toplumun maddi ve manevi kültürünü, dünya görüşünü ve toplumsal değerlerini yansıtan bir aynadır. Dilin kavram dünyası, topluluğun evreni, dünyayı ve toplumu nasıl algıladığını ve anlamlandırdığını gösterir. Her bir sözcük, yalnızca bir nesnenin veya olgunun ismi değil, o toplumun bilgi birikimi, coğrafi ve kültürel yapısının da bir parçasıdır. Özellikle geniş coğrafi ve kültürel çeşitliliğe sahip topluluklarda, dilin söz varlığı yeni kavramlar ve isimlendirmelerle sürekli olarak zenginleşir. Bu yüksek lisans tezi, Seyfî Sarâyî'nin 14. yüzyılda yaptığı Gülistan Tercümesinde geçen isimlerin kavram alanlarına göre sınıflandırılmasını incelemektedir. Tezin birinci bölümü, dil, anlam ve kavram alanı üzerine temel bilgileri içerirken; sözcük ve söz varlığı kavramlarının tanımlarını detaylandırmaktadır. Ayrıca eserin yazarı ve eserin kendisi hakkında genel bilgiler sunulmuştur. Tezin inceleme kısmında ise eserde yer alan isimler, kavram alanlarına göre 45 başlık altında toplanmış ve bu isimler cümle içindeki bağlamlarıyla birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ele alınan eseri tanıtarak, Türk dilinin ve kültürünün tarihsel gelişimine katkı sağlamak, ayrıca ilerleyen dönemlerde yapılacak çalışmalara kaynak oluşturacak bir zemin sunmaktır. Böylelikle, dilimizin derinliklerinde yer alan söz varlığı zenginliğini ve bu zenginliğin kökenlerini daha geniş bir bakış açısıyla ortaya koymak hedeflenmiştir. The vocabulary of languages is not just a structure formed by the combination of sounds; it is also a mirror reflecting the material and spiritual culture, worldview and social values of the society speaking that language. The conceptual world of the language shows how the society perceives and gives meaning to the universe, the world and the society. Each word is not only the name of an object or phenomenon, but also a part of the knowledge accumulation, geographical and cultural structure of that society. Especially in communities with wide geographical and cultural diversity, the vocabulary of the language is constantly enriched with new concepts and naming. This master's thesis examines the classification of the names in the Gulistan translation made by Seyf-i Sarâyî in the 14th century according to their conceptual fields. The first part of the thesis includes basic information on language, meaning and conceptual fields; while it details the definitions of the concepts of word and vocabulary. In addition, general information about the author of the work and the work itself is presented. In the review section of the thesis, the names in the work are grouped under 45 headings according to their conceptual fields and these names are evaluated together with their contexts in the sentence. The aim of this study is to contribute to the historical development of the Turkish language and culture by introducing the work in question, and also to provide a basis that will form a source for future studies. Thus, it is aimed to reveal the richness of vocabulary in the depths of our language and the roots of this richness from a broader perspective.
