İLKOKUL 2. SINIF HAYAT BİLGİSİ DERSİNDE ANİMASYON DESTEKLİ ÖĞRETİMİN ÖĞRENCİ GÖRÜŞ VE GÖZLEMLERİ AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Araştırmada, İlkokul 2.Sınıf Hayat Bilgisi Dersinde Animasyon Destekli Öğretimin Öğrenci Görüş ve Gözlemleri Açısından İncelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı Diyarbakır ili Eğil ilçesine bağlı Kaya İlkokulun' da 2. sınıfa devam 20 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu , gözlem formu ve kazanım değerlendirme formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde nitel analiz yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; öğrencilerin animasyon destekli öğretimi eğlenceli ve güzel buldukları, yapılan dersi sevdikleri görülmüştür. Yapılan bu eğitim ile derse karşı olan ilgilerinin arttığı görülmüştür. Eğitim sırasında animasyona ait unsurların öğrencilerin dikkatlerini çektikleri görülmüştür. Animasyon destekli öğretimle konuları daha iyi anladıklarını, bilgilerin daha kalıcı olduklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Yapılan görüşmeler sırasında animasyon destekli öğretim sürecinde öğrencilerin ders esnasında daha çok eğlendikleri ve sürece etkin katılmak istedikleri için yapılan animasyonların süresini yetersiz buldukları , ayrıca etkinliklere bireysel katılmak istediklerinden dolayı soruları yetersiz buldukları görülmüştür. Ayrıca bu yöntemin öğrencilerin derse karşı tutumlarını da olumlu yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Yapılan bu eğitimin sınıf içi iletişimi güçlendirdiği ve konuyu kavrama ve mantıksal çıkarımlarda bulunmalarını sağladığı sonucuna varılmıştır. İncelenen görüşme ve gözlem formları doğrultusunda yapılan bu çalışma ile animasyon destekli öğretimin; öğrencilerin derse karşı tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği, dersi eğlenceli ve güzel buldukları, konuları daha iyi kavradıkları ve yapılan eğitimi farklı ve ilgi çekici buldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğretmenler, öğrencilerin derse karşı motivasyonlarını ve ilgilerini arttırmak, daha eğlenceli ve kalıcı hale getirmek için animasyon destekli öğretim yönteminden faydalanabilirler. Animasyon destekli öğretim Hayat Bilgisi dersinde uygulanabileceği gibi ilkokulda farklı kademeler ve farklı dersler de tercih edilebilir. Hazırlanan animasyonlarda öğrencilerin aktif katılımını sağlamak için animasyon hazırlama sürecine öğrencilerde dahil edilebilirler. Teknoloji destekli öğrenme ile ilgili öğrencilerin bilgi ve beceri düzeyi ne durumda olduğu araştırılabilir ve geliştirilebilir. Animasyon destekli derslerin işlenebilmesi için sınıflarda akıllı tahta veya projeksiyon cihazı, bilgisayar, fotoğraf makinesi gibi teknolojik aletlere ihtiyaç olduğu için okullara sağlanan teknolojik destek durumu geliştirilebilir.

The examination of teaching with animation upon students' views and observations in second grade life science lesson was aimed in this study. The working group of the study consists of 20 second grade students studing in Kaya primary school located in Egil town of Diyarbakir city. In the study the case research of qualitative research methods was used. To collect data, the semi-configured interview form and observation forms prepared by the researcher were used. In the analysis of the data that was acquaried, the content analysis method of qualitative methods was used. According to the results of the study; It was found that the students really enjoyed animation based lessons. With this education they started to be more interested in the classes. During this education it was found that the animation materials drove the students' attention. They stated that the animation supported education allowed them to understand better and they stated that the knowlodge becomes permanent this way. During the interviews it was found that the students had so much fun with animation supported lessons that they found the duration of the lessons insufficient as they wanted to take part in the the lessons more actively. They stated that they wanted to participate in all of the activities and because they found the activities so interesting they actually found the activity questions insufficient. Besides this method was seen to create a positive effect in students towards the lesson. After this education it was found that this method improved the communicaton between the students it also helped them understand the topic better and make logical judgements. After the examination of the interview and obsevations forms it was found that animation supported classes create a positive attitude in students towards the lesson and they also find this method very interesting and they understand better. Teachers who want to create more motivation and interest in classes and make the classes more fun and the knowledge permanent, can use animation supported method. Animation supported method can be used in life science class and also can be used in different grades in primary school and in different classes. To ensure student participation in the activities, students can be included in the preparation of the lesson. The knowledge and skill level of students can be researched and improved with technology based learning. In order to have animation supported classes, the technological support for schools should be developed as smart boards, projection devices, computers and cameras are needed.
