KAYBOLAN ÇOCUKLUK OLGUSUNA SOSYOLOJİK BİR BAKIŞ

Abstract

Çocukluk; doğup büyüyen ve yeti?kinliğe ula?mı? her bireyin geçirmi? olduğu bir evredir. Bu nedenle çocuk ve çocukluk kavramları geçmi?ten günümüze gelene kadar birçok ara?tırmanın incelediği, çe?itli kongrelerde ve sempozyumlarda da tartı?ma konusu olan önemli bir olgudur. Bilimin, eğitimin, sanayinin, teknolojinin ve ileti?imin hızla geli?tiği global dünyada elbette ki toplumun en küçük yapı ta?ı olan aile kavramı da deği?ime uğramı?tır. Aile üyeleri arasındaki özenle yakla?ılması gereken en hassas ve en narin ki?iler ise çocuklardır. Deği?en ve dönü?en dünya bağlamında çocuk ve çocukluk kavramlarının yapı olarak farklıla?tığı a?ikardır. Ancak bu farklıla?ma ne yönde oluyor? Çocuk ve çocukluk kavramlarımızı gün geçtikçe yitiriyor muyuz? Söz konusu bu sorular ara?tırmanın motivasyonunu olu?turmaktadır. Ara?tırma teorik bir ara?tırmadır. Ara?tırmaya kavramsal çerçeve ile ba?lanarak ilerleyen bölümlerde günümüzdeki çocuk problemlerine ı?ık tutulup çocuk ve çocukluk kavramları incelenmi?tir. Ara?tırmanın amacı; global dünyanın önemle üzerinde durduğu "çocuk" kavramının günümüzde ne kadar zedelendiğini literatür taraması ile inceleyip sunmaktır. Sonuç olarak diyebiliriz ki, çocukluk, dünden bugüne yapısal anlamda birçok evre geçirerek günümüzde farklı boyutlara ula?mı?tır. Childhood; It is a phase that every individual who is born, grows up and reaches adulthood goes through. For this reason, the concepts of child and childhood are important phenomena that have been examined by many studies from past to present and have been the subject of discussion in various congresses and symposiums. In the global world where science, education, industry, technology and communication are rapidly developing, the concept of family, which is the smallest building block of society, has also changed. Children are the most sensitive and delicate family members that need to be approached with care. It is obvious that the concepts of child and childhood differ in structure in the context of a changing and transforming world. But in what direction does this differentiation occur? Are we losing our concepts of child and childhood day by day? These questions constitute the motivation of the research. The research is a theoretical research. The research started with the conceptual framework and in the following sections, the concepts of child and childhood were examined by shedding light on today's children's problems. Purpose of the research; The aim is to examine and present, through a literature review, how much the concept of "child", which the global world attaches importance to, has been damaged today. As a result, we can say that childhood has gone through many structural phases from past to present and has reached different dimensions today.
