ORTAOKUL TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARINDAKİ CİNSİYET ULAMI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki cinsiyet işaretleyicilerinin terminolojik olarak tespitinin yapılmasıdır. Bu kapsamda Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinler, tarama modelinde betimsel bir yaklaşım benimsenerek doküman incelemesi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmada saptanan ifadeler gönderimsel, sözlüksel, dil bilgisel ve toplumsal cinsiyet ulamları alt başlıkları altında tablolar hâlinde sınıflandırılmış ve bu ifadeler ilk kez karşılaşıldıkları bağlam içinde örneklendirilmiştir Sınıflandırmada Çolak (2019) tarafından yapılan çalışma esas alınmıştır. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda "gönderimsel cinsiyet ulamında 15 dişil, 112 eril; sözlüksel cinsiyet ulamında 32 dişil, 38 eril, dil bilgisel cinsiyet ulamında 2 dişil, 2 eril ve son olarak toplumsal cinsiyet ulamında 14 dişil, 100 eril ve 5 tane sosyal olarak zayıf cinsiyet işaretleyicisi" olarak toplamda 320 tane cinsiyet ifadesi tespit edilmiştir. Dil bilgisel cinsiyet ulamı hariç diğer ulamların genelinde eril ifadelerin dişil ifadelere oranla daha fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın dil eğitiminde önemli bir yeri olan Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin içerdiği dilsel cinsiyet ifadeleri hakkında bir çerçeve belirlemesi bakımından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. The purpose of the study is to determine terminologically the gender markers in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade Turkish textbooks. In this context, the texts in the Turkish textbooks were examined by the document analysis method by adopting a descriptive approach in the scanning model. The expressions identified in the study were classified in tables under the subheadings of referential, lexical, grammatical and gender categories, and these expressions were exemplified in the context in which they were encountered for the first time. As a result of the examination "15 feminine, 112 masculine in reference gender category; A total of 320 gender expressions were identified as "32 feminine, 38 masculine gender markers in the lexical gender category, 2 feminine, 2 masculine in the grammatical gender category and finally 14 feminine, 100 masculine and 5 socially weak gender markers in the gender category. Except for grammatical gender category it was determined that masculine expressions were more than feminine expressions in general. It is thought that the study is important in terms of determining a framework about the linguistic gender expressions in the texts in the Turkish textbooks, which have an important place in language education.
