WOMEN EMPLOYMENT OF TECHNOPARKS IN TURKEY

Abstract

Women have always been one of the important dynamics of business life from past to present. The role of women in the business life has been greatly affected by the structural changes that appear in work relations. One of the important changes that emerged in business life today is the change in the employment process at sectoral level. Rapid technological developments have switched the employment area of the workers from farms to industry first and then to the service sector. Affected by this change, women workforce became an important factor for sustainable development. One of the most important factors affecting the change in women employment is the techno parks; they enable women to bring their entrepreneurial spirit to the fore. The main aim of the research in this context is to determine the general facts about women's employment in Turkey and to evaluate the women employees at techno parks using literature and interview technique.
