COVID-19 PANDEMİ SÜRECİNDE SAĞLIK KURUMLARINDA İŞ SAĞLIĞI VE GÜVENLİĞİ

Abstract

Toplum sağlığını küresel boyutta etkileyen salgınlar, kişilerin fiziksel sağlığı kadar ruhsal sağlığının da etkilendiği süreçler olmuştur. Anksiyetenin psikolojik boyutu, endişe ve huzursuzluğun öznel bir boyutudur. Salgınlar, sağlık çalışanları için de pekçok olumsuz psikolojik neticelere neden olmaktadır. Sağlık sektöründe çalışanların maruz kaldıkları psikolojik stresin dikkate alınmamasıysa kişisel ve de toplumsal seviyede sağlık hizmetlerinin uygulanmasında ciddi olumsuz neticelere sebep olmaktadır. Sağlık çalışanlarına enfeksiyonun bulaşmasında; hastanelerin yoğunluğu, çevresel etkenlerle ilişkili olduğu bilinmektedir. Ülkemizde ve dünyada yapılan bilimsel araştırmalarda salgın döneminde sağlık çalışanlarında depresyon ve tükenmişlik düzeylerinin arttığına dair bulgular sunmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı COVID-19 pandemisi sürecinde sağlık çalışanlarının çalışma koşullarına bağlı olarak karşılaştıkları riskler ve İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği çalışmaları kapsamında hastane uygulamalarına yönelik durum tespitinin yapılmasıdır. Sağlık sektöründe istihdam edilen çalışanlar, COVID-19 sürecinde büyük bir risk altındadırlar. Bu durum sağlık çalışanlarına yönelik yapılacak olan çalışmaları önemli kılmaktadır. Özellikle çalışanların risk durumlarının belirlenmesi ve hastane uygulamalarının incelenmesi önemlidir. Çalışmamızda ve alan araştırmalarında görüleceği üzere sağlık çalışanlarının pandemi döneminde iş sağlığı ve güvenliği, çalışma şartları, iş yükü, mesleki riskler, hastalanma kaygısı, bulaştırma kaygısı. sosyal damgalanma, stres ve anksiyete, duygu-durum bozukları gibi bir çok etken sağlık çalışanları iş sağlığı ve güvenliği açısından risk altında olduğunu göstermiştir.

Epidemics that affect public health on a global scale have been processes that affect the mental health of individuals as well as their physical health. The psychological dimension of anxiety is a subjective dimension of worry and restlessness. Epidemics also cause many negative psychological consequences for healthcare workers. Failure to take into account the psychological stress that employees in the health sector are exposed to causes serious negative consequences in the implementation of health services at the personal and societal level. In the transmission of infection to healthcare workers; It is known that the density of hospitals is related to environmental factors. Scientific researches conducted in our country and in the world present findings that the levels of depression and burnout in healthcare workers increase during the epidemic period. The purpose of this research is to determine the risks faced by healthcare professionals depending on their working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic and to determine the status of hospital practices within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety studies. Employees employed in the health sector are at great risk during the COVID-19 process. This situation makes the work to be done for health workers important. It is especially important to determine the risk status of the employees and to examine the hospital practices. As can be seen in our study and field studies, occupational health and safety, working conditions, workload, occupational risks, anxiety of getting sick, anxiety of contagion of healthcare workers during the pandemic period. Many factors such as social stigma, stress and anxiety, mood disorders have shown that health workers are at risk in terms of occupational health and safety.
