TÜRKİYE'DE YETİŞEN ARTEMİSİA L. (ASTERACEAE) TAKSONLARİNİN TAKSONOMİK REVİZYONU

Abstract

Araştırmamızdan önce Türkiye Florası'nda Artemisia cinsi türaltı kategorileri olmayan 23 tür ile temsil edilmekteydi. Yaptığımız bu çalışmanın sonucunda ise Türkiye'de yetişen Artemisia taksonları 3 subgenusa ait 21 tür ve 26 takson olarak belirlendi. Çalışmamıza göre, bu türlerden biri iki alttüre, ikisi ikişer varyeteye ve biri de üç varyeteye sahiptir.Yeni bilgiler doğrultusunda bazı taksonların sistematik durumları yeniden belirlendi. Türkiye Florası'ndaki Artemisia campestris L., Artemisia marschalliana Sprenge ve Artemisia araratica Krasch. türleri Artemisia campestris türü altında; Rusya Florası'nda olduğu gibi Artemisia campestris L. var. campestris, Artemisia campestris L. var. marschalliana (Spreng.) Poljak., Artemisia campestris L. var. araratica (Novopokr.) Poljak olarak birleştirdi. Türkiye Florası'ndaki Artemisia santonicum L. türü, Avrupa Florası'ndaki gibi Artemisia santonicum L.subsp. santonicum ve Artemisia santonicum L. subsp. patens (Neilr.) K. Persson olarak iki alt türe ayrıldı. Türkiye Florası'ndaki Artemisia herba-alba Asso olarak verilen türün Türkiye'de bulunmadığı, bu isimle adlandırılan örneklerin aslında Artemisia sieberi Bess. subsp. sieberi olduğu saptandı.Revizyon araştırmasının sonucunda bilim dünyası için yeni bir tür (Artemisia bashkalensis Kursat & Civelek sp. nova) ve yeni iki varyete (Artemisia spicigera K. Koch var. vanensis Kursat & Civelek var. nova ve Artemisia taurica Willd.var. pendulosa Kursat & Civelek var. nova) tanımlandı.Bu revizyon çalışmasında, Artemisia L. cinsinin (Asteraceae) Türkiye'de yayılış gösteren taksonlarının teşhis anahtarları, morfolojik özelliklerini içeren tanımları ve coğrafik yayılışları belirlendi. Ayrıca, taksonların habitatlarındaki genel görünüşlerinin resimleri, yaprak ve çiçeklerinin ayrıntılı şekilleri verildi.Artemisia splendens Willd'in otlatma baskısı nedeniyle Türkiye'deki populasyonları azalmaktadır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Asteraceae, Compositae, Artemisia, Revizyon, Türkiye Florası

Artemisia genus represented by twenty three species without infra spesific taxa in the Flora of Turkey before present revision study. Artemisia taxa grown in Turkey determined as twenty one species and twenty six taxa belong to three subgenus in the result of present work. According to our study, one of these species has two subspecies, two of these species have two by two varieties seperately and another one has three varieties.The systematic statuses of some taxa re-identified in the line with the new data. Artemisia campestris L., Artemisia marschalliana Sprengel and Artemisia araratica Krasch. species in the flora of Turkey unified as Artemisia campestris L. var. campestris, Artemisia campestris L. var marschalliana (Spreng.) Poljak., Artemisia campestris L. var. araratica (Novopokr.) Poljak under the Artemisia campestris species such as in Russian Flora. Also, Artemisia santonicum species in the Flora of Turkey has been divided into two subspecies as Artemisia santonicum L. subsp. santonicum and Artemisia santonicum L. subsp. patens (Neilr.) such as in European Flora. In additon, species given as Artemisia herba-alba Asso in the Flora of Turkey doesn?t exist in Turkey and called by that name actually Artemisia sieberi Bess. subsp. sieberi was detected.In the result of this revison study, a new species (Artemisia bashkalensis Kursat & Civelek sp. nova) and two new variety (Artemisia spicigera K. Koch var. vanensis Kursat & Civelek sp. nova and Artemisia taurica Willd.var. pendulosa Kursat & Civelek var. nova) have been identified for Scientific World.In this revision study, it was determined diagnostic keys, descriptions including morphological characters and geographic distributions of genus Artemisia taxa spread in Turkey. In addition, overall appearance of the pictures of taxa in habitats, detailed figures of leaves and flowers have been defined.The populations of Artemisia splendens Willd. in Turkey have been decreasing due to grazing pressure.Key words: Asteraceae, Compositae, Artemisia , Revision , Flora of Turkey
