FATİH SULTAN MEHMET DEVRİ VEZİRLERİ: DÖNÜŞÜM, REKABET VE ETNİSİTE

Abstract

Fatih Sultan Mehmed; Osmanlı Devlet yapısında bir takım değişiklikler yapmıştır. Bu çalışmada; Fatih Sultan Mehmed döneminde görev yapan veziriâzamların ve vezirlerin faaliyetleri, Fatih'in oluşturduğu yeni devlet düzeni ve bürokratik mücadeleler incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çandarlı Halil Paşa'nın görevden alınması ve akabinde idam edilmesi ile başlayan yeni süreç; devşirme kökenlilerin bürokraside ağırlık kazanmaları, Türk aristokrasisinin tasfiyesi ve Türk-devşirme ilişkileri açısından ana hatlarıyla irdelenmiştir. Devşirmelerdeki etnik bilincin varlığı ile ilgili bulgular değerlendirilmiş; bu bilincin devletin yürütme fonksiyonu üzerindeki güç mücadelesine etkisinin ne olduğu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

The findings regarding the existence of ethnic consciousness in the devshirme were evaluated; The effect of this consciousness on the power struggle on the executive function of the state has been tried to be revealed.
