İLKÖĞRETİM 5, 6, 7 VE 8. SINIF TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARINDAKİ SERBEST OKUMA METİNLERİNDE YER ALAN ALINTI SÖZCÜKLERİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın veri kaynağı, ilköğretim 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki serbest okuma metinleridir. Çalışma, doküman incelemesi aracılığıyla birleştirilen verilerin içerik analizine dayanmaktadır. Araştırmada söz konusu metinlerde kullanılan tüm sözcükler taranarak önce pdf formatına, sonra da veri süzmesi amacıyla sırasıyla word ve excel formatlarına aktarılmıştır. Metinlerdeki Türkçe ve alıntı sözcüklerin tekrarsız halleri dikkate alınmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda da metinlerdeen sık tekrar edilen 100 sözcük liste halinde verilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda sözcüklerin tekrarsız kullanımları incelendiğinde, 5. sınıfta 2482 sözcüğün %17'sinin (423); 6. sınıfta 2322 sözcüğün %15'inin (358); 7. sınıfta 2477 sözcüğün %16'sının (400); 8. sınıfta 2061 sözcüğün %17'sinin (356) alıntı sözcük olduğu görülmüştür. Genel anlamda, yapılan incelemeden elde edilen bulgular eşliğinde, ilköğretim5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki serbest okuma metinlerinin alıntı sözcük varlığı açısından, belirgin şekilde birbirleri arasında tutarsızlık arz ettiği; kimi metinlerin alıntı sözcük sayısı bakımından hafif kaldığı, kimininse öğrenci seviyesi düşünüldüğünde çok ağır olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu yönüyle ders kitaplarındaki söz konusu metinlerin, genel olarak, Türkçe Öğretim Programlarının yabancı sözcükler konusundaki alt amaçlarına uygun olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.Thedatasource of thisstudy is freereadingtexts in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th gradeTurkishtextbooks of primaryeducation. In general terms, in thecontext of thefindingsobtainedfromtheexamination, it wasfoundthatthefreereadingtexts in the 5th, 6th, 7th and8th gradeTurkishtextbooks of elementaryschoolclearlyshowedinconsistencybetweeneachother in terms of citationwordexistence; Some of thetextshavebeenfoundto be light in terms of thenumber of quotedwords, andsomeareveryheavywhenconsideringstudentlevel. Inthisrespect, it has beenconcludedthatthetexts in thetextbooksgenerally do not complywiththesub-objectives of theTurkishteachingprograms on foreignwords.
