ORGANİK TARIM VE GIDA PİYASALARI ÜZERİNE SOSYOLOJİK BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Nüfusun giderek artması ve üretilen besin maddelerinin artan nüfusun beslenme ihtiyacını karşılayamaması sonucu küresel şirketler tarafından GDO'lu ürünler üretilmeye başlanmıştır. Ancak kısa sürede daha çok ürün elde etmeye dayalı olan bu sistem beslenme konusunda çözüm üretmiş fakat toprağı ve insanları kendilerine bağımlı hale getirmiştir. Eğitim seviyesinin yükselmesi ile birlikte GDO'lu ürünlerin insan sağlığına zararları konusunda bilinçlenme artmakta böylece organik ürünlere yönelmede artış yaşanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada toplumu organik tarıma götüren süreçler üzerinde durulmuş ve toplumu doğal ürün kullanmaya yönelten etmenler açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda küreselleşmenin etkisi ile ortaya çıkan organik tarım piyasasının toplumdaki yeri incelenmiş organik tarım ve organik gıda piyasalarının konumu üzerinde durulmuştur. The global companies have start producing products with GDO as result of not being able to fulfill the need of nourishment of gradually increasing population. However, this system – which is depending on gaining more crops within shorter period- has produced solutions about nourisment but at the same time it rendered soil and people more addictive to themselves. While educational level rising, awareness also increased about harms of products with GDO to human health so that heading towards organic products has increased too. Within this study tried to explain the factors which are heading society towards using organic products and put emphasis on processes which are taking the societies to organical agriculture. In this respect had put emphasis on status of organical agriculture and organical nourishment markets and analysed the place of organical agriculture -which emerged with influence of globalisation- in society.
