İLKOKULDA ÇOCUĞUNUN KENDİ SINIFINDA ÖĞRENİM GÖRMESİNE İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı çocuğunun kendi sınıfında öğrenim görmesine ilişkin sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma amacı doğrultusunda Diyarbakır il merkezinde ve ilçelerinde görev yapan 30 öğretmenle görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırma, nitel bir çalışma olup araştırmada olgu bilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak görüşme yöntemi seçilmiş, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veriler içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ebeveyn öğretmenler çocuğunun kendi sınıfında öğrenim görmesinin çocuğun çok yönlü gözlemlenebilmesine ve okul ortamının çocuk için daha güvenli hale gelmesine yardımcı olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Bazı öğretmenler çocuğunun okula uyumunun kolaylaştığını ve çocuğunda okul korkusunun oluşmadığını dile getirmiştir. Bazı öğretmenler çocuğunun kendi sınıfında öğrenim görmesinin dezavantajlarına ilişkin olarak kıskançlık ve rol çatışması yaşandığını dile getirmiştir. Öğretmenler bu durumun çocuğun bireyselleşmesini, başarısını ve sosyalleşmesini etkileyebileceğini ifade etmiştir. İlkokulda çocuğu kendi sınıfında öğrenim gören sınıf öğretmenleri çoğunlukla çocuğunun kendi sınıfında öğrenim görmemesi gerektiğine ilişkin görüş belirtmiştir. The aim of the research is to determine the opinions of the classroom teachers about the education of their children in their own classes. For the purpose of the research, interviews were conducted with 30 teachers working in Diyarbakır city center and its districts. The research is a qualitative study and a phenomenological design was used in the research. The interview method was chosen in accordance with the purpose of the research, and the semi-structured interview technique was used. In the study, the data were analyzed by content analysis. According to the results of the research, teachers who are parents in their classrooms stated that their children's education in their own classroom helps them to be observed in a versatile way and the school environment becomes safer for them. Some teachers stated that their children's adaptation to school becomes easier and that their children don't have school phobia. Some teachers stated that they experienced jealousy and role conflict regarding the disadvantages of their children's education in their own class. Teachers stated that this situation may affect the individualization, success and socialization of the child. The classroom teachers, whose child is educated in their own classes in primary school, mostly expressed their opinions that their children should not be educated in their own class.
