Bir Kedide Görülen Adenokarsinom Olgusu

Abstract

Tümörler hücrelerin kontrolsüz bir şekilde çoğalması ve maruz kalma etkenlerinin ortadan kalkması durumunda da gelişimini devam ettiren yeni doku üremeleridir. Evcil hayvanlarda tümör olguları gittikçe artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada bir kedide adenokarsinom olgusunun sunumu amaçlanmıştır. Dokuz yaşındaki dişi bir kedide, göğüs bölgesinde lokalize olmuş bir oluşumla karşılaşıldı. Yapılan klinik muayenede 3 cm uzunluğunda ve 2 cm genişliğinde bir kitle olduğu tespit edildi. Yapılan muayenede şişliğin sert, dip kısmının loblu olduğu ve kas içerisine invaze olduğu hissedildi. Genel anestezi altında total olarak ekstirpe edilen kitle patolojik olarak incelendi. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda alınan kitlenin adenokarsinom dokusu olduğu ortaya konuldu. Tümör hücrelerinin bezsel yapılar oluşturduğu, bu bezlerin etrafında yer yer bağ dokudan oluşan stroma ile çevrili olduğu dikkati çekti.

Tumors are new tissue growths that develop when cells proliferate uncontrollably and continue to grow even when exposure factors are eliminated. The incidence of tumor cases in domestic animals is increasing. This study aims to present a case of adenocarcinoma in a cat. In a 9-year-old female cat, a localized formation was encountered in the thoracic region. During the clinical examination, a mass of 3 cm in length and 2 cm in width was identified. The examination revealed that the swelling was firm, the base was lobulated, and it had invaded into the muscle tissue. The mass was completely extirpated under general anesthesia and subjected to pathological examination. The examination results confirmed that the excised mass was adenocarcinoma tissue. It was observed that the tumor cells formed glandular structures, and these glands were surrounded by stroma composed of connective tissue in certain areas.
