SINIF ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN SES TEMELLİ CÜMLE YÖNTEMİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ: BİR META ANALİZ ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Eğitim hayatı bir bireyin gelecekteki yaşamını doğrudan etkileyen hayati bir süreçtir. Bu sürecin temelini ise okuma yazma öğretimi oluşturur. Ülkemizde ilk okuma ve yazma öğretimi için kullanılan yöntemler dönemin ihtiyaçlarına göre zaman zaman değişim göstermiştir. Ülkemizde uygulanan güncel ilk okuma ve yazma metodu ses temelli cümle yöntemi olmuştur. Bu yöntemin uygulayıcıları sınıf öğretmenleridir. Bundan hareketle yapılan araştırmada sınıf öğretmenlerinin ses temelli cümle yöntemine ilişkin görüşleri meta analiz yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Konu ile ilgili toplam 75 çalışmaya ulaşılmış, gereken kriterleri sağlayan 20 çalışma meta analize dahil edilmiştir. Araştımada veri analizini yapmak için RevMan 5.5. (Review Manger) Ve Jamovi 2.2 istatistik programları kullanılmıştır. Meta analize dahil edilen çalışmalarda yayın yanlılığının varlığını tespit etmek amacıyla "Huni Grafiği" ve "Egger's Regresyon Analizi" yapılmıştır. Çalışmadaki değişkenlere ilişkin heterojenite testi yapılmış ve her çalışma için hesaplanan heterojenlik seviyesine göre uygun olan model seçilmiştir. Hesaplanan etki büyüklüğü değerlerine göre, sınıf öğretmenlerinin ses temelli cümle yöntemine ilişkin görüşlerinde cinsiyet değişkeni için hesaplanan değer erkek öğretmenler lehine olduğu, mesleki kıdem süresi değişkeni için hesaplanan değerin 16 yıl ve üzerinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin lehine olduğu, mezun olunan okul türü değişkeni için hesaplanan değerin eğitim fakültesi veya eğitim enstitüsü mezunlarının lehine olduğu, yaş değişkeni için hesaplanan değerin ise 22-39 yaş aralığındaki öğretmenlerin lehine olduğu belirlenmiştir. Educational life is a vital process that directly affects an individual's future life. Primary literacy teaching forms the basis of this process. The methods used for primary literacy teaching in our country have changed from time to time according to the needs of the period. The current literacy method applied in our country is the sound-based sentence method. The appliers of this method are primary school teachers. Based on this, in the study, primary school teachers' opinions regarding the sound-based sentence method were examined using the meta-analysis method. A total of 75 studies on the subject were reached, and 20 studies that met the necessary criteria were included in the meta-analysis. RevMan 5.5 and Jamovi 2.2 statistical programs were used to perform data analysis in the research. "Funnel Plot" and "Egger's Regression Analysis" were used to detect the existence of publication bias in the studies included in the meta-analysis. Heterogeneity test was performed for the variables in the study and the appropriate model was selected according to the heterogeneity level that calculated for each study. According to the calculated effect size values, the value calculated for the gender variable in primary school teachers' opinions of the sound-based sentence method is in favor of male teachers, the value calculated for the seniority variable is in favor of teachers who have worked for 16 years or more, the value calculated for the type of school graduated variable is in favor of faculty of education or institute of education graduates, and the value calculated for the age variable was in favor of teachers between the ages of 22-39.
