Maarif Modelinde Benimsenen Eğilimlerin Dinleme ve Okuma Metinlerinde Görünümü

Abstract

Bu araştırma, 2024 Maarif Modelinde benimsenen eğilimlerin 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabındaki dinleme/izleme ve okuma metinlerine yansımalarını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak söz konusu ders kitabı kullanılırken; veri analizinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, dinleme/izleme metinleri ve okuma metinleri tema bağlamında incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular frekans verileri doğrultusunda tablolar halinde sunulmuş ve metinlerden alınan örnek alıntılarla desteklenmiştir. İncelemeler neticesinde, Türkçe ders kitabında yer alan altı dinleme/izleme metninin her birinde benlik eğilimleri bağlamında merak ve seçilmişlik; sosyal eğilimler açısından empati, sorumluluk ve girişkenlik; entelektüel eğilimler bağlamında ise muhakeme, gerçeği arama, açık fikirlilik, soru sorma ve özgün düşünme unsurlarının yer aldığı belirlenmiştir. İncelenen on sekiz okuma metninin her birinde ise benlik eğilimleri açısından “bağımsızlık” ve “seçilmişlik”; sosyal eğilimler açısından “girişkenlik”; entelektüel eğilimler açısından ise “açık fikirlilik” unsurlarının bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak metinlerde yer verilen eğilimlerin Maarif Modelinin eylem-değer-eylem çerçevesiyle örtüştüğü; ancak bu değerlere sınırlı düzeyde yer verildiği sonucuna ulaşılmış, ayrıca okuma metinleri arasında yer alan şiir türündeki metinlerde anlamlı eğilim bulgularının daha sınırlı düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study aims to examine the reflections of the trends adopted in the 2024 Education Model on listening/watching and reading texts in the 5th grade Turkish textbook. The research was conducted with document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. While the textbook in question was used as the data collection tool in the study, descriptive analysis method was used in data analysis. Within the scope of the research, listening/watching texts and reading texts were examined in the context of themes. The findings were presented in tables in line with frequency data and supported with sample quotations from the texts. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that each of the six listening/watching texts in the Turkish textbook contains the elements of curiosity and chosenness in the context of ego tendencies; empathy, responsibility and assertiveness in terms of social tendencies; and reasoning, truth-seeking, open-mindedness, questioning and original thinking in terms of intellectual tendencies. In each of the eighteen reading texts analyzed, “independence” and “chosenness” in terms of ego tendencies, ‘assertiveness’ in terms of social tendencies, and “open-mindedness” in terms of intellectual tendencies were found.Finally, it was concluded that the tendencies included in the texts overlapped with the action-value-action framework of the Education Model; however, these values were included at a limited level, and it was also concluded that the findings of meaningful tendencies were more limited in the poetry texts among the reading texts.
