EBEVEYNLERİN SOSYOTELİZM DÜZEYİNİN ADÖLESANLARIN ÖZGÜVENİNE ETKİSİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma ebeveynlerin sosyotelizm düzeyinin adölesanların özgüvenine etkisini incelemek amaçlı yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı desendeki bu araştırma Kasım 2021- Kasım 2022 tarihleri arasında Malatya ilinde bulunan Fethi Gemuhluoğlu Fen Lisesi, İbni Haldun Anadolu Lisesi ve Akçadağ Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesinde öğrenim gören lise öğrencileriyle yürütülmüştür. Verilerin toplanma aşamasında Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Genel Sosyotelizme Maruz Kalma Ölçeği (GSMK) ve Öz güven Ölçeği kullanıldı. Ulaşılan verilerin bilgisayar destekli SPSS 24 paket programında Kruskall Wallis, Mann Whitney U, Anova, Bağımsız t-Testi, Korelasyon ve Regresyon testleri ile analizleri yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmamıza toplam 890 öğrenci dahil edildi. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin %16.3'ü (n=145) Akçadağ Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesinde, %47.9'u (n=426) İbni Haldun Anadolu Lisesinde, %35.8'i (n=319) Fethi Gemuhluoğlu Fen Lisesinde eğitim görmektedir. Katılımcıların %51.7'si kız öğrencilerden, %40.3'ü 9.sınıfta eğitim gören öğrencilerden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmamızda GSMK ile özgüven arasında yaklaşık % 17.5 oranında negatif yönlü bir etki olduğu saptanmıştır. GSMK'nın, özgüveni % 3,1 oranında azalttığı görülmektedir (p < 0.05). Sonuç: Araştırmamızda ebeveyn sosyotelizmi düzeyi arttıkça adölesan bireylerin özgüven seviyelerinin azaldığı belirlenmiştir.

Aim: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of parents' phubbing level on adolescents' self-confidence. Method: This descriptive study was conducted with high school students studying at Fethi Gemuhluoğlu Science High School, İbni Haldun Anatolian High School, and Akçadağ Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Malatya province between November 2021 and November 2022. Introductory Information Form, Generic Scale of Being Phubbed (GSBP) , and Self-Confidence Scale were used to during data collection. The obtained data were analyzed with the computer-aided SPSS 24 package program through Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney U, Anova, independent t-Test, Correlation and Regression tests. Findings: A total of 890 students were included in the study. 16.3% (n=145) of the students participated in the study, study at Akçadağ Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, 47.9% (n=426) at İbni Haldun Anatolian High School, 35.8% (n=319) at Fethi Gemuhluoğlu Science High School. 51.7% of the students are females and 40.3% (n=359) of them were 9th grade students. In our study, it was determined that there was approximately 17.5% negative effect between GSBP and self-confidence. It is seen that GSBP reduces self-confidence by 3,1 % (p < 0.05). Conclusion: In our study, it was concluded that as the level of parental phubbing increases, the self-confidence levels of adolescents decrease.
