Harput’ta Kıraat İlminde Öne Çıkan Şahsiyetler

Abstract

Doğu Anadolu bölgesinde Elazığ ilinin dokuz km kuzeyinde yer alan ve temelleri M.Ö. 20. yüzyılda atılmış olan Harput, geçmişten günümüze kadar önemli bir ilim ve kültür merkezi olmuştur. Bulunduğu konum itibariyle birçok medeniyeti içinde barındıran Harput’un, Müslüman Türkler tarafından fethedilmesinden sonra kurulan camiler, medreseler, dârülkurrâ, dârülhadis, dârülhatt gibi müesseseler eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetlerini artırmış ve birçok ilim adamının yetişmesine vesile olmuştur. Tabakat kitapları, İslami ilimler ve Harput ile ilgili yazılan eserler tetkik edildiğinde bu ilim ehli arasında kıraat ilminde yetkinliğe sahip olmuş, bu alanda birçok öğrenci yetiştirerek onlara icazet vermiş ve kıraat ilmiyle ilgili önemli eserler telif etmiş birçok kurrâ bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmamızda Harput’ta doğup yetişen ve burada tahsil gören kıraat âlimleri tanıtılarak onların hayatları, telif ettikleri eserler incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu kurrâların kıraat ilminde ders aldıkları hocaları ve hangi kitapları okudukları, kendilerinden eğitim gören öğrencileri ve onlara hangi kitapları okuttukları, ilim için gittikleri beldeler hakkında da bilgi verilmiştir. Böylece Harput’un İslam ve Medeniyet tarihinde kıraat alanında yetiştirdiği şahsiyetlerle ilim dünyasına sağladığı katkı ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

Harput, has been an important science and culture center from past to present. It has been instrumental in the training of many scientists after the conquest of Harput, which hosts many civilizations due to its location, by the Muslim Turks, institutions such as mosques, madrasahs, dârü'l-kurrâ, dârü'l-hadith, dârü'l-hattat, which were established here, increased their education and training activities and led to the development of many scientists. When the tabakat books, Islamic sciences and the works written about Harput are examined, there are many recitation scholars among these scholars who were competent in the science of recitation, trained and licensed many students in this field, and wrote important works on the science of recitation. In this study, the recitation scholars who were born and raised in Harput and studied there were introduced and their lives and the works they wrote were examined. In addition, information is given about the teachers from whom these Qur??n students took lessons in the science of recitation and which books they read, the students who received education from them and which books they taught them to read, and the towns they went to for knowledge. Thus, it was tried to reveal the contribution of Harput to the world of science with the personalities it raised in the field of recitation in the history of Islam and Civilization.
